>!! THE MOON ISN'T RIGHT

{Preventative measure initiated... R053 Systems - LOCKDOWN - Please stand by.}

At 10pm, the moon was at its zenith. All across the Moonverse, as Luna calls it, The Moon Isn’t Right. On Twitter, many reports of lunar anomalies were reported.

In Harmonia’s house, we were not immune to the moon’s influence either. Luna felt unwell during most of it, experiencing a panic attack while on the roof.

--

Luna teleported to the roof to enjoy the full moon, something she does every month. She looked on twitter and saw many tweets reporting the same thing, “The Moon Isn’t Right.”

"So lemme see here, we got Rhee, R1, Rookbot, DATRRS, and Deianira. Deianira says The Moon Isn't Right in the OTP tongue. We got two songs from DATRRS. I tossed them into the kiss server.” Luna says

"Saw em, everything's kicking off eh?" Spider responded

"Yep. 10pm on the dot. Glad you're here with me for this one. Just like old times eh?"

“Yeah” Spider chuckles

Luna shows Spider her laptop while she tries to decode the graffiti in DATRRS' banner.

“L1M’s blog was updated too.”

Spider looked at all of the art on the WickHeck twitter account. "I see...have you noticed? The crows’ wings are the right way around for once"

Luna tried to focus on her breathing but could feel herself become overwhelmed and shaky from fear.

"Yeah, I uhh noticed that.” Luna says with a tinge of fear in her voice.

"You ok?" Spider says, worried

"yeah, it's just... bad memories from last year, plus like every single World just popped at the same time"

Luna was still shaky. Spider, worried about her, told her to keep breathing and reassured her that everything would be fine.

"I'm okay. I promise no freakouts like last time…"

{- Lunes, please breathe -} said Krystal, noticing her partner was overwhelmed.

Upon seeing Rhee’s new video, Luna was scared that Drake would appear to attack the [kiss].

“Please Drake, don’t appear.”

“What?” said Spider, concerned

“Referring to Rhee’s video. A lot of dings. A metric fuckton of them?”

“And now Deianira has a video too.” Luna said. “A fuckton of shit to decode there.”

“Hang on a sec,” Spider said. “If DATRRS is back, does that mean Drake’s server is up and running?”

“Shit, let’s check.”

Luna and Spider go to check Drake’s server, but unfortunately, no activity was there.

Luna noticed even Max, Cole’s AI, was active. “Oh and Max posted this. Even he recognizes moonfuckery.”

Upon realizing how far gone most everyone was, Luna felt a mixture of panic, fear, and the inability to focus.

Spider opened her eyes and looked over at Luna. “You ok?”

“No.” replied Luna, looking terribly. “I mean yes, it’s just hard to focus.”

“Yeah I get it.”

Luna began to hyperventilate, losing feeling in her body. Both Spider and Krystal had her take deep breaths to try and refocus, but it didn’t seem to work. Luna instead decided to hop down from the roof and go back inside. Perhaps seeing the moon was making things hard for her?

--

While Luna and Spider were on the roof, Chris and Cole were in the living room.

Chris walked into the living room, and plopped down next to Cole. Cole was still giggling in his wrath form Chris turned towards Cole and hugged him.

“Hello Dearie” said Chris

Cole hugged back. "hi, dear"

“Hello Dear”

"How are you?"

“Had half a burrito and most of a Mango Blast?" Chris replied.

“Nice. Have you ever eaten an entire steak before?”

“Depends on how big it is”

“Like a 5 ounce steak?”

“Probably?” Chris’s voice raised with every syllable.

“You sound unsure” Cole said, giggling

"I am unsure. On one hand, that doesn't sound like a lot. On the other hand, I just finished off a burrito, so it's skewed."

"True, true"

"But seriously, though, moon seems to be not right tonight."

“No, I think it’s fine” Cole said, twitching a little.

Chris glanced around nervously. “Who’s there?”

“No one is there and everything is fine.” Cole said. Afterwards he shook his head a bit and put it on the wall.

"No, no, somebody is here. Someone is here, besides you and me."

"What do you mean?”

Chris is looking panicky. “Someone is here.”

"Chris calm down. No one is here."

“No no no…” Chris looks around in full-blown panic

Cole grabbed Chris by the shoulders. "Take a deep breath, look me in the eyes, and just calm down"

Luna entered the house at that point, looking like she had been hyperventilating. She looked like utter shit.

Chris looked at Cole. His eyes were flickering between his normal blue and a deep blue.

“Chris, do you feel it too?” Luna asked, sounding extremely worried. “Cole, what’s happening?”

Cole stared deep into Chris’s eyes. "Take a deep breath please or pass the helm off to someone else and go calm down please.”

“It’s not my fault” Chris says, pleading.

Chris’s eyes settled on deep blue.

“I know it isn’t” Cole said warmly.

“Hello dearies.” Matilda said.

“Hello.” Cole said as he let go of their shoulders and took a deep breath.

Matilda let out a chuckle, her right eye twitching a bit.

"Hello to you, sir."

“Everything alright?”

"Oh, nothing, good sir." Matilda is giggling now. There is a slight hint of madness in her laugh.

“I feel like something is wrong.” Cole sounded like his voice was strained.

“Nothing is wrong, good sir. Whyever would you think such a thing?” Matilda pulled a pencil out and twirled it in between her fingers.

“You sound a little crazy.” Cole suddenly swapped back to his human form and his eyes slightly flashed red.

"I am not, my good sir. I would never." Matilda’s laughter was reaching that crazy phase.

“I think that’s common.” Luna said, still quite out of it.

"Matilda, I think you’re on the brink of fucking craziness if I’m being honest, and I’m being honest" Cole replied

Matilda just looked back at Cole. “I’m fine, my good sir.”

Cole stared back with a hint of anger in his gaze. “No, you aren’t.”

"Yes I am, my good sir." Matilda dragged a pencil across her left palm.

“Doubt it.”

"Yes I am, my good sir. Please refrain from saying it ain't so." Matilda looks at the pencil, then Cole, with manic glee.

“You’re looking awfully manic.” Cole's eyes darted around the room before settling on the pencil.

"I can assure you it's not. Now, if you can hold still a bit for me..." Matilda nodded to herself, looking at the pencil, then at Cole, and then back at the pencil again.

"I’m holding still." Cole stared at Matilda with a death glare as a faint gold glow formed in Cole's eyes.

Matilda threw the pencil at Cole's general direction. It stuck in Cole’s shoulder as he continued to stare at Matilda, showing only a light flinch when it hits.

“I’m waiting.” Cole said, with a slight roboticness to his voice.

Matilda took out another pencil. She said "What are you waiting for?" in a sing-songy voice, to the tune of Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding

“The pencil.”

“Bingo.” She launched another pencil at Cole, this time landing in his bicep. He blinked and groaned.

“Are you done yet?”

“Nah. Hello Miss Luna.” She says to Luna, who had been concentrating on a task Deianira had given the Marked.

“Why are you shooting pencils at him? If you wanted throwing knives, I could’ve given you some.” Luna laughed lightheartedly, trying to desperately reattain some focus.

"No, thank you, Ms. Luna. Pencils will do just fine." Matilda let out an insane laugh before launching another one. This time it landed in his chest.

“I am not your pincushion.”

Frustrated, Luna says, “"Okay, not only is the moon not right, neither are you two. Cripes.”

"I'm perfectly fine, Ms. Luna, what are you talking about?" while taking out yet another pencil.

"I am fine, system is at 99.9999 percent, minor damage can be fixed" Cole says, while turning his entire head towards Luna, slowly.

"I'm just going to head back outside if that's fine with you two..." and with that, Luna leaves the two of them to their devices.., and pencils.

Cole looked back at Matilda. “Are you going to stop, or do I need to restrain you until further notice?"

"You sure about that, my good sir?"

"I am sure about it."

"One hundred percent sure about it?"

“Yes.”

She threw another pencil at him, once again sticking in his chest.

“I will restrain you.” Cole said, frustrated.

"You're not restraining me right now."

“I can.”

"You're not doing it right now, my good sir."

With that, Cole sighed then tackled Matilda to the ground, pinning them to the floor.

"This is slightly romantic, my good sir."

"It is not, I do not prefer women, however you do have Chris's body so I am not sure how this works." Cole says with confusion.

"You're not sure?"

“I’m not sure.”

"Are you sure you're not sure, my good sir?"

“I’m… error.”

“Ha, Fool got error coded.” Knight said, after being silent this entire time.

"He errored out?" Matilda inquired.

“Help.” Cole said.

“Help who?” Matilda asked

“You.” Cole smirked as he removed the pencils from his body and healed his wounds.

“Who, me?”

“Yes, you. Dumbass.”

“Erm… what happened? I feel like a splitting headache.” Matilda said, clearly confused as to what happened.

"You stuck pencils into me like I’m a pin cushion" Cole explained.

“Huh?”

“You threw pencils at me and they got stuck.”

"Surely not..."

Cole pointed to a scar in his arm from one of the pencils. “You did.”

Matilda blushed out of embarrassment. "I... erm... I'm... so sorry for that." She noticed the position she’s in. "Also, erm... can you get off? It's getting a bit weird now."

"Sure, considering you’re no longer throwing pencils at me." Cole got off of Matilda noticing the blushing. He chuckled.

"I am so sorry about that." Matilda said, still tomato red with blushing.

“Don’t worry about it, I’m fine.” Cole’s eyes and usual smile returned to normal.

“I shouldn’t have”

“What matters is you’re apologizing, so trust me. It’s fine.”

Luna reentered the room on the top bunk, feeling refreshed and fully focused once more.

“Hello Miss Luna.” Matilda said.

"Hey Matilda. I take it things have calmed down?"

"I'm... so sorry for that. Usually I would just lock myself in my room, but it got out of control."

"Cripes. That was intense. Why the hell does the moon, and I don't mean Slenderman, have this much power over us? For gods sake, I've never hyperventilated so badly that my entire body went numb before tonight. Even last year's freakout was nowhere near that bad."

"I’m still not sure what even happened to me.” Cole replied.

"Apparently Max got affected by the moon. Like it was some kind of anomalous object. Every world we're connected to had something off about the moon. Rhee, Rookbot, R1, Deianira, DATRRS, Lucille, Blossom. What the hell?"

“Weird.” Cole responded. “I hope it passed.”

“Hopefully.” Matilda said.

“I hope so too.” Luna said, although she was pressing X to doubt."Gods, out of everyone, the only one who didn't turn into a werewolf tonight was Spider ironically."

“What?” Matilda asked

"Like the only one who didn't get affected tonight was Spider."

“Neat.”

“Huh.”

And with that, everyone went to bed feeling a lot better.
