Luna appears in the living room looking a little exhausted. She might have gone a bit too hard on the magic usage. Afterwards, she climbs up to the top bunk and takes a short nap to recover lost mana. Sparrow is vibing. Luna zones in, feeling restored.
"Hey Sparrow, having a good day?" Luna asks.
He shrugs.
"Oh ok."
Drew enters the room and throws himself in a chair. He sighs deeply. Sparrow, without warning, throws the therapy pillow at Drew.
"Okay, we're doing this again." Luna sighs. "Basically, he wants you to talk about your feelings or about whatever stressors you might be feeling."
The pillow hits Drew in the head. He gives Sparrow a look. "I'm good. No stress, no bad thoughts."
Kade enters the living room with Orpheus.
"Well, if you have nothing to say, you pass it onto someone else."
Chris enters the living room, "Are we doing this?" Drew tosses the pillow into the middle of the room.
"I guess? I mean I have nothing to say personally." Luna says, "Got everything out last night." Knight just walks in and leans on a wall.
Orpheus is clinging to Kade, seeming a bit dopey. He eyes the pillow in the middle of the room.
"Hello, everyone." Chris says.
Sparrow gets up and tosses the pillow at Orpheus. Orpheus catches the pillow in his mouth, gives Knight a death stare and then drops it onto the floor.
"Well, you gotta talk about your feelings now, Orph." Luna says.
“What?” Knight asks. Sparrow sits back down. Orpheus BARKS.
"Huh?" Luna asks.
Kade pets Orpheus's head, "He might not have any thoughts right now! Got doused in blood I assume?"
“What was the death glare for???” Knight asks. Orph smiles, staring at Knight, who says, “I am so confused”
"Feels like there might be some chasing..." Chris sighs.
"Orpheus, attack." Kade points at Knight, jokingly.
“Wait WHAT”
"I think I feel unhappy with our relationship as I had rushed right into it at the first sign of chemistry after 2 straight years of isolation and torment in the depths of hell. I can barely consider you a partner as I simply cannot talk to you without fear of consequences, which is why I had to hide Eurydice for so long. It reminded me of my old boyfriend, honestly. If I mispoke, I'd get hurt and someone would get hurt and maybe someone would die. Sometimes I can barely even tell what emotion you're really feeling.. I put my self at risk of complete erasure for you. I did a lot for you. You killed Leviathan, I stopped your slow and inevitable death at the hands of corruption. We're even. We're fair. I want to move on. We can still be friends if you'd like, but...I'm breaking up with you, Alice." Orpheus does not waver in his tone of voice, smiling while his tail wags.
“Oh,” Knight says.
"Yeah!"
“Cool,” Knight sighs.
"That's completely reasonable," Chris says.
“Can we still be friends?” Knight asks.
"Yeah sure! But uhhh uhhh Honestly aside from that whole mess I'm kinda really good???? Like.. wow. Who knew changing forms and making friends could make you feel absolutely fantastic ehhehhe," Orpheus says, "But basically what I'm saying is if anyone wants a massage I'll give them one since Harmonia and Ari seemed to like it."
Sparrow zones out in thought.
"Sounds like a good idea," Chris says.
Kade seems stunned for a moment, "Oh. That's good!! That you feel better now. I'm happy to hear that."
Luna puts her fingers together, "Um, I'd like one sometime, if that's ok."
Orpheus looks to Luna, "My paws are ready whenever you are but you'd have to fight Chris in an epic game of rock paper scissors to see who gets it first!!"
"Of course," Luna says.
“Nice,” Knight says.
"Are we doing it now, or..." Chris asks.
"I guess? On shoot alright?" Luna asks.
"Yeah."
Luna puts her hand behind her back and states: "I'm picking paper."
"I'm picking rock, just so you know," Chris puts his hand behind his back as well.
Luna grins and calls the sacred phrase: "ROCK. PAPER. SCISSORS.... SHOOT!"
Luna launches paper.
Scissors from Chris.
"Gratz!" Luna says, "I wanted you to win anyway."
"Ah." Chris says, "I thought you were bluffing."
"Nope!" Luna grins.
"Aaawoo!!!!!" Orpheus silently claps his paws together and giggles.
"Ah, very well then." Chris smiles, "I'll cash it in later, if you don't mind, Orph, since we still have the pillow therapy going on."
"Awwww ok." Orpheus picks up the pillow and throws it to Sparrow, who catches it. Orpheus claps, "I ate a golf ball once." Sparrow cannot tell if he is lying.
"How and why," Kade asks.
"Minigolf and alcohol," Orph smiles.
Spider walks into the room, "So we're doing this therapy thing again are we?"
“Yep” Knight says. Sparrow stares at the pillow. Knight says, “Sparrow is exempt from the pillow right?”
"That's up to him. I have pen and paper since he's unable to speak." Luna goes into her bag and grabs a pad of paper and a pen, just in case. "Do you want to have a go Sparrow?"
Sparrow is staring at the pillow. Spider sighs and and sits down against the wall pulling something out her jacket pocket and fiddling with it. Luna sets the pad and pen in front of him then returns to her seat. Sparrow is lost in thought.
"Uhhh Sparrow?" Luna asks. Sparrow sighs and sets the pillow in the middle of the room before heading to the kitchen.
“Huh.” Knight just takes the pillow. “Meh.” He then throws it at a random person.
She catches the pillow and sighs, "I'm starting to hate being human. Everything feels..duller and I hate being this weak. Anyways, any follow ups?"
“Nope.”
"Nope."
"Nope."
Spider tosses the pillow back into the center, "Lunes can I have a lift?"
"Yeah, one sec."
"Ta"
"So this might be weird, but Krystal taught me something earlier. Hope this works?" Luna focuses her mana on Spider, picturing her living room. And she CLAPS HER PAWS! Spider disappears!
“Nice,” Knight smiles.
"Fuck yeah!" Luna cheers, "I can snap people now!... er Clap people now!"
"Ay, nice work!" Kade says, a sleeping Orpheus on his chest.
"Hah cute." Luna looks to the lonely pillow in the middle, "Soooo I'm guessing we're done for the night, unless someone else wants to go?"
“Looks like it,” Knight says.
"Good. I'm gonna go... to the roof. Look at the moon for a bit. Maybe play some vidya. It's a really nice night." And she does... exactly that.
