Pluvio leans forward in her seat.

"So you mean to tell me that you've found a better source to feed on?"

The main worship room of the church has had its pews replaced with soft, fluffy sofas, and its walls are painted a pastel pink. The statues are painted over with various bright colors, and the one of the virgin Mary is wearing a respirator similar to Pluvio's.

"Yeahhhhhhh, she kinda provides like, a lot more than you do! And, it's a different type of obsession, a new one, and I really like it. So! You're old hat!" Lucille laughs, putting one of her legs over the other as she lays in one of the sofas.

"What do y- Why?? You're just pushing me down the ranks because I'm not a good source anymore??? What the FUCK, Lucille?!" Pluvio yells, pacing the isle. Her footsteps are loud, her combat boots meeting the wooden floor louder with each step.

"Listen, you'll still be my attack dog," Lucille drones, "Don't take it personally." From the window, a young woman watches almost undetectable. Almost. She has sharp blue eyes and wears a shoulder length wavy white wig. Her dark blue hoodie and black leggings help hide her frame as well as a black cloth face mask. She watches the people in the church hungrily, noting down their conversation. She knows that Lucille knows about her. Was she talking about her?? The young woman can’t tell. What she can tell was that Lucille is gorgeous and the masked figure is pissed.

"Oh! Don't take it personally?" she laughs, taking a loud step, "You're telling me to not take you demoting me over a stupid fuckin' reason personally? Oh, okay! I won't then!"

She pulls a gun from her bag, and aims it at Lucille.

"Don't take this personally, asshole."

She pulls the trigger. The woman almost screams when the gun is levied at Lucille but holds back, slamming a hand over her mouth, shaking as she sees the tables turn. Blood stains Pluvio's clothes, slowly dripping out of an invisible wound beneath them. She begins coughing up blood.

Lucille gets up off the sofa, and starts walking towards Pluvio, slowly growing taller and more thin.

"Now, where'd you get the idea that you had a say in how this all works?"

Long, dark tendrils erupt from Lucille's back, positioned into looking like spider legs. Her smile grows wider, and she speaks:

"You can either die here or submit and do as I say. You're lucky I haven't servantized you."

Fear fills the girl watching, the hair on her neck standing on its ends as Lucille transforms. Then she grins. This was perfect. Lucille was perfect. She was powerful and beautiful and amazing and gorgeous- The woman felt herself spiraling deeper as she realized she’d found the one. Her hand shakily left her mouth as she smiled.

Pluvio removes her mask, throwing it down. Blood stains around her mouth and nose. She's crying. All she can do is nod in agreement. It looks like she's... smiling?

"Good girl," Lucille says, reverting back to her original state, all of Pluvio's wounds healing. Pluvio takes a deep breath, and sits back against a wall. Lucille turns to the window where the little spy is situated, and she smiles. She knew they were watching. She always knew. Lucille was happy to finally reveal what she truly was to this girl, whoever she may be. It was a display of her power, but she didn't need to display it at all. She knew the girl was already completely infatuated.

The girl knows she should move, get out of sight, but she doesn’t. She smiles back at Lucille and tears up, overcome with emotion. This is all she needs ever. She would do anything for this moment to last. Lucille starts walking to the nave of the church, and out the front door. She could have teleported, but she wants this to feel... different. She looks at the girl, who she was once separated from by a piece of glass. She smiles and waves, taking off her sunglasses. The girl waves back, and takes off her mask, like a trade. I see you, you see me. Her face is round and soft, pale with dark circles under her eyes. She stands up to meet Lucille properly.

Preeeetty, Lucille thinks to herself. She walks over to the woman with her hand out, for a handshake.

"You already know my name. What's yours, cutie?"

“B-blossom- Blossom White-“ Her pale face flushes red as she struggles to find her words, taking off a leather glove and taking Lucilles extended hand carefully. Her hands were surprisingly calloused despite her soft appearance. She dared to look up and meet Lucille's eyes. Lucille's grip is firm as she shakes Blossom's hand gently. A smile forms on Lucille's face, just a tad wide enough to be deemed unnatural, but not too much.

"That's a nice name, it actually kind of fits with my whole flower theme I have going on! I think you'll fit in perfectly here."

“F-fit in? D-does that mean we can be friends? You’ll be friends with me?” Blossom asks, surprised yet excited, her eyes widening. Her voice is high pitched yet soft, her demeanor meek but a cunning look in her eyes. She may seem weak, but she’s smarter than what meets the eye. Blossom seems shocked.

"Of course!" Lucille giggles, putting another hand on Blossom's, "I love making new friends."

“Thank you! Thank you! I’ll do anything you want me too! I’m very resourceful and I’ll do everything you ask and- I’m rambling-“ If it's even possible, Blossom blushed harder, her smile growing so wide that it hurts. She giggles and tears up.

"Interesting," she says, putting her hand on Blossom's shoulder, "Why don't we head inside? It's cold out here."

“That sounds amazing, Miss Lucille…” Blossom nods, allowing Lucille to lead her.

"You can just call me Lucy," she smiles, opening the doors to the church.

“Okay… Lucy,” Blossom says, testing the nickname out, “You have a gorgeous name… It fits you-“

"Thank you, Blossom!" Lucille giggles as she walks Blossom through the nave and worship room, passing Pluvio, who's texting Drake's Mind on her phone, not paying attention to the two girls passing her.

“You’re welcome! Wow, your church is so cool!” Blossom looks around in wonder.

"Thank you!!!" Lucille smiles, "You are always welcome here!"

She walks Blossom through a door that leads to a hallway, with the door to Lucille's room at the end.

"Wanna see my room?"

“Y-you’re welcome! And yes please- Thank you-“ Blossom nods, neglecting to mention the fact that she already had seen it. Lucille brings Blossom into her room. There's electronics all over the floor, a mahogany dresser, and a queen-sized bed. There's also a desk with a computer and some bottles of cotton candy faygo on it.

"Come in," she says, sweeping some of the wires to the side so Blossom can actually walk.

“Everything here is perfect…” Blossom says, following Lucille like a puppy. She watches her, glancing around the room but focusing mostly on Lucy.

"Is that why you couldn't keep your eyes off of it yesterday?" Lucille teases, "Or your hands?" One of the many screens in the room lights up with footage from one of the camcorders of Blossom sneaking in through Lucille's window and turning on her computer. Lucille smiles, smugly. Blossom blushes.

“I um- I wanted to get to know you better-“ She says with a squeak, hoping that Lucille wasn’t mad.

"That's okay, dear," she says, sitting on her bed, "I like obsession, it's a wonderful thing. I'm very happy that you feel such emotion towards me."

“Y-you do? The others freaked out- I didn’t mean to scare her… I mean- t-them-“ She stammered, her hands shaking a little.

"Others?" Lucille tilts her head in curiosity. "Tell me more, please!" Blossom seemed nervous but willing to tell Lucille.

“I had… other friends.. before… I learned everything about them so I’d be perfect for them but it got messed up! Lizzy moved away, Bella had an… accident… and Jill died when the sky went red…” Blossom teared up, “I just wanted to be good enough for them… But- maybe I can be good enough for you! Maybe!”

"Interesting... you're a very interesting girl, Blossom. I admire that." Lucille crosses her legs, and puts her hands on her knee, "You're more than good enough for me. You know how long I've been looking for someone like you? With real, natural obsession... You, my friend, are perfect." She smiles, and looks into Blossom's tear-filled eyes. Blossom melts. When was the last time she’d heard words so kind? Had she ever? Blossom isn’t sure but she can’t help but let the tears overflow, crying with joy and a smile.

“T-thank you- That’s all I’ve ever wanted-“ Blossom wants to be held by Lucille but makes no move to touch her. She doesn’t want to mess anything up.

"Here," she moves over a little bit, making room for Blossom to sit, "Come sit with me, doll."

“Thank you again, Lucy- You’re perfect-“ Blossom says, crying into her hands, and sitting in the seat Lucille made for her.

"Now, now," she says, taking Blossom's hands away from her face, "You're very pretty, even when you're crying. Don't hide your beauty from me, Blossom, please." She speaks in a hushed, soft tone, as though she's speaking to a scared child. "Would you like a hug?"

“Y-yes-“ Blossom nods. She looks into Lucille's eyes, loyalty and trust and obsession swirling around in her irises. Lucille wraps her arms around Blossom, and some tentacles as well. The hug is warm, and it makes Blossom feel safe. Everything about the moment is just... safe, and secure. She melts against Lucille. This was the best moment of Blossom's life. She’d never felt so safe before. Her tears seem to slow and she relaxes against the woman. Lucille smells like roses and rain. She stays hugging Blossom for as long as Blossom needs. Blossom didn’t want to pull away. Everything about the moment was so perfect… but after a moment she did, wiping her eyes.

“Saying thank you is repetitive at this point but I have no other words-“ she admitted, laughing nervously.

"That's okay. Repetition makes for familiarity," Lucille smiles, retracting her tentacles. Blossom nods and finds herself yawning. She really doesn’t want to leave, but she knows the group would be expecting her back with supplies soon.

“The group I’ve been living with will be expecting me back soon…” Blossom isn’t too fond of the group, but she does what she has to do to survive.

"Alright, shall I walk you to the door?"

“Yes please,” Blossom smiles at Lucille and stands. Lucille stands with her, holding her hand and leading her back to the nave, where she opens the doors. Blossom turns to Lucille.

“Can I see you tomorrow?” she asks, not yet letting go of Lucille's hand.

"Of course!!! I'm usually here, but if I'm not, you know my Discord!" Lucille smiles. Blossom grins and nods.

Okie! See you tomorrow then!” she lets go of Lucille's hand and leaves the church, slipping her gloves and mask back on before disappearing into the night. The doors to the church close slowly, as Lucille watches Blossom walk away.
