Melody walks back to the forest with Smores, looking around for flowers and herbs, picking some. Smores looks around, standing idly and picking a dandelion. Melody smiles and places a flower in his hair, "You're so cute!!"
"hhhhhthankyou-!" he's blushing a lot.
"Hehe of course!!" Melody boops his nose and continues looking for flowers. Up ahead, she can see two large trees with what appears to be a path between them. There's lots of flowers on the path and the trees. Melody tilts her head and walks towards it, "Look, theres a bunch over there!"
Smores turns his head, smiling, "Ooh!!" He follows behind Melody. Melody walks to the path, trying to pick a flower. The flower comes off easily, and it makes Melody feel really happy! Melody giggles and shows it to Smores.
"Look at how cool it is!!" She hops up and down. Smores looks at it, feeling the effect too. He smiles, taking it and putting it in Melody's hair. Melody giggles and flaps her hands happily. "Thank you!!" She continues down, picking another.
Melody and Smores would feel a strong, but calm presence behind them. Melody turns around curiously, and sees...
A tall figure. Four arms, each with a different sleeve. Its shirt is a turtleneck sweater, and it's wearing overalls with a skirt. The skirt has several patches and charms hanging off of it. For a head, it has a sunflower with a pattern on it. It has two horns with rings around them, the rings are covered in eyes. It has two large, angelic wings with the Sorath sigil and several eyes on them. It looks down at the pair.
"Hello, children. You have an interest in flowers?"
Melody nods happily, "Yes!! Your face looks like a pretty sunflower!!" Melody states, meaning it in a good way.
Smores looks up at the figure, looking them up and down, "You're tall."
"Here," Sorath holds out a crown of white roses to Melody, "It is all yours."
Melodys eyes widen as she lets go of Smores' hand to take it, "It's gorgeous-"
"I hope you enjoy, Melody," Sorath turns to Smores, "Hello, Smores." She gives him a flower crown of violets, "For you."
"I do!! How do you know my name!!" Melody takes it and gently puts it on her head, smiling at Smores then back at Sorath.
"I know many things." It tilts its head, looking down at Melody and petting her with its topleft hand. Melody purrs and leans into it. Sorath kneels down so that her head is level with Melody's. She puts one of her hands over Melody's heart. "Purity," she says, as the symbol on her face glows a bright white.
Melody watches curiously, "What're you doing?"
"You are Pure. Would you like to spread Purity, Melody? To combat Impurity?"
"What does that mean exactly?" Melody tilts her head.
"Your friend, Spider Fairgreen. She is sick. You will be able to heal her of her illness."
"Oh, oh course!! I wanna help people!!"
"Good girl," the symbol glows brighter, and Melody's eyes do as well. Sorath pulls her hand away, and stands back up, looking down at Melody. "You may now cure the Impurity. You may not know how yet, but when the time comes, you will be able."
Melody purrs when called good girl, stimming happily. "Okay,," Melody smiles at her. "What's your name?"
"I am Sorath." Melody can sense a smile, despite not being shown one.
Smores looks at Melody, then at Sorath. "So,, you're the one that escaped Cata,,?"
Sorath picks Smores up and squishes his cheeks with her free hands. "You are forgiven." She ruffles his hair and puts him down. He's a blushy mess.
Melody giggles and watches, "You have a good name!! But where is Spider?"
"She is at Catacombis. You may either wait for her return or go there and rescue her."
"Would it be safe? Dont they want you?" Melody tilts her head, her little ears going with.
"I do not want you going. I was talking about Smores."
"M-me??? Nno I'm not going back there- I don't wanna go back-" He starts to shake.
"Ohhh- Smores you dont have to go-" Melody hugs him, holding him, "Someone else will get her!"
"She will be returned either way. Kalius will return her."
Melody gently holds Smores, "See! You don't have to go back! It'll be okay,," Melody looks up at Sorath, "Thank you,,"
"You are welcome. You may return to picking flowers now, my child." Sorath vanishes, and for a split second, orange 1s and 0s are visible.
"Okie!" Melody looks back to Smores, holding him gentle, "You're never going back,,"
"hhhh"
"Its okay,," She sits down, moving him so hes in her lap as she holds him. "I'm never letting you go back,,"
