Harmonia and Luna walk out of the same portal and it shuts behind them.
They find themselves in a penthouse high above the blizzarding city of Sloth below. It's rather... casual, actually.
They step out facing the side of a couch. There is a coffee table and a large tv hung up above a lit fireplace. There's a large bar/kitchen in the back of the room to their right.
Belphegor is nowhere to be seen!
The window Harmonia fucking jumped from has been boarded over for now.
Harmonia looks nervous as she thinks about her last visit here, scratching her arm and looking around.
"Hey. So this is Belphegor's penthouse?" Luna asks, looking around as well.
"Hey- yeah it is.” Harmonia greets her.
"Nice. I finally get to meet Belphegor." Luna says with giddiness in her voice.
"She’s cool! Um... I've met her before"
"Really? That's cool." Luna says.
"Yeah,," Harmonia looks away. "Belphegor?" Harmonia calls out, hoping she’d hear.
"Yeah? Hold on, gimme a minute!" She’s probably getting dressed or something. Sounds like she's shouting from behind a door.
"Oh okay!" Harmonia calls back.
"Okie!" Luna calls.
The door opens and Belphegor runs out, vaulting over the bar and hurrying over to them. "Alright, cool, hi!" For those who are unaware, Belphegor is a 6' female demon. Kinda muscular, could definitely fight someone! Large, pierced bat ears and a funny bat head. Large wings are folded against her back. She's got neck fluff! She's wearing pajama pants and a rather plain t-shirt. Oh, also horns! She has horns that are a bit nubby and point up. "Sorry, I was like... layin in bed before you messaged me, haha...Anyway." She pulls out a hammer.
Purrs can be heard from Luna, as she's extremely happy to finally meet Belphegor. "Hey there. Um, what's with the hammer?"
Harmonia blushes upon seeing her. She’s got brand new ram horns and waves nervously.
"Oooo..." Belphegor smiles. "Neat horns, Harmonia! Very good look on ya." She then looks to Luna. "It's for the thing you came here for! My biology is funny, you'll see."
"T-thanks... how's your biology weird?" Harmonia asks.
"Mind turning around? Both of you."
Luna and Harmonia turn around.
There's the sound of stone shattering.
"Alright, you can turn around now!"
They turn back around and see that the hammer is now on the floor next to a pile of cracked stone. Belphegor's left hand is... completely different now. It's like a shell has been taken off to reveal a swirling navy blue and light gray vortex in the shape of said hand!
"This is how my biology is funky! ..Oh, right." She reaches her right hand into her left as if it's a portal and pulls out Harmonia's Cole Watch. "I meant to give this back like... a while ago? I just forgot to, haha. She tosses it to her.
"Oh- um thank you-" Harmonia blushes and puts it on. "So you're like rock kinda?"
"...that's definitely funky." Luna comments.
"More or less! I'm sorta like a pocket dimension inside of a statue. Kinda. Don't think about it too hard! It's magic." Belphegor winks at them. "..Anyway." She cracks her knuckles. "Which one of you wants to go retrieve my soul?"
Harmonia looks to Luna. "Uh... I can? Unless you wanna?"
"I've never done a soul retrieval before. I wouldn't know how. And frankly, I admit, I'm a bit scared too."
"It's definitely not the standard procedure with me! Normally, you just like... ya know. Stick your hand into somebody's chest and-” Belphegor makes a yanking motion. "But, with me, you gotta like...Ever play that quest where you go into a soul gem in Skyrim? Like that but a helluva lot more disorienting. And without the evil monsters." She explains.
"Oh gods. Why Skyrim of all things?” Luna asks.
"Abaddon played it for hours straight when he was high. Kinda have that game burned into my memory, haha." Belphegor responds.
Harmonia cracks her neck. "I can do it."
Luna goes quiet. "Oh ok, go for it."
"Unless you wanna," Harmonia says.
"I defer to you." Luna says.
"Alrighty.”
"You can also both go? Up to you, I'm kinda just gonna be sitting around and waiting." Belphegor says.
“If that's the case, do you mind if I come along?" Luna asks.
"Not at all,” Harmonia says.
"Sweet. Let's do it."
"Bet.” Harmonia smirks.
"Alright cool!” Belphegor walks over and punches Luna painlessly in the face and then Harmonia painlessly in the face with her left hand. They disappear.
