Myla is sitting in their room, A/C on, door locked so nobody can come in, listening to music and drawing. A small pebble is thrown at their window, y'know, like in the movies. Then it happens again!
"What the..." They go to their window, open it, and look outside. There's nothing there. Though, they hear a knock at their front door. "Ugh. Who the fuck..." They sigh, unlock the door to their room, and head downstairs to check who's at the door. There's a pamphlet just kind of laying there. It makes them feel somewhat uneasy, but it's probably nothing. They grab the pamphlet and read it for a bit. It's full of... binary text, so spooky!!!! That releases some tension from Myla. Though, the pamphlet itself is weird. It's hot pink with little white boxes for the text, which are bright blue. There's little graphics depicting people worshipping... something. It's hard to make out with how poorly printed it is.
However, upon looking back up from the pamphlet, Myla would notice someone standing honestly uncomfortably close to them, leaning over to watch as they read. This person stands at maybe 5'6, and she's wearing a black tank top with blue jeans and black boots. Her hair is long and dark with parts of it being blue, and she has bright blue eyes accompanied by blue makeup.
"Hi there!" Her voice is feminine, but it kind of makes Myla uncomfortable? Just the person's presence in general, it feels offputting.
They're startled, before speaking quietly. "Uhm... hi?"
"Do you like the pamphlet? I worked very hard on it!" She giggles, doing a small hairflip. "My name's Lucy, by the way! What's yours?"
"Its, uhm, alright...? I'm Myla... Uh, what are you doing here?"
"I thought you'd be suitable for a small club I'm putting together! Like-minded individuals who can help me with a goal I'm trying to achieve, it's all in the pamphlet!" The pamphlet still only has binary.
They look back at the pamphlet and then back at Lucy. "Uh... Ok, I'll let you know if I'm interested, I guess."
"The sooner the better! Turn it over!" Lucy smiles wide, pointing to the pamphlet again. They turn the pamphlet over. There's a link to a discord server! "You can contact me there and let me know your decision!"
Wow. Something I can actually read, they think, putting the pamphlet away. "Uh, alright... Gonna join your server later."
"Alright! I hope you have a good night, Myla!" Lucy waves, and starts to walk away.
"Yeah... You too, I guess." Myla closes their front door and locks it. What the fuck just happened?
