Orpheus (?) begins to wake up after a solid 3 day nap. "Nap." More like a hibernation lmao.
Kade pats their head. "Nap?"
Orpheus (?) sits up and rubs their eyes, giving a small yawn. "..nap..?" They look down at Kade. Left eye normal, right eye black, seemingly confused. "...Cerberus..??"
Kade simply looks back up at them, looking a bit stunned but giving a bit of a smile. "Yes..!! That's me."
Orpheus (?) huffs a little, trying to roll off of him onto the grass. "You look a lot less.. you knoww.... big."
Kade allows it to happen, starting to sit up himself. "It tends to happen, sometimes. But we are the same."
Orpheus (?) land on their back and sit up, hands on the ground. "...fun..!" They look around. "..How long have I been asleep?"
Kade watches them and takes a small look around. "...About three days."
".....ehhe.... uhhm.....how long is a day??" “Orpheus” asks.
"Uhh.. well. 24 hours?" Kade responds.
"So that but three?"
"Yes!"
"Uhh...That sounds like a long time."
"Well- It is! But don't worry about it." Kade responds.
"...Okay.." “Orpheus” pats their hands against the ground, some peonies blooming.
An axe appears on the lawn.
“Orpheus” recoils back a bit, staring at it. "WHAT’S THAT???"
Kade immediately picks it up to keep it away from them. "Nothing!! Don't worry about it!!!"
"...Nonono.." They reach for it. "C'mon! Tell me!! What is it!!"
Kade keeps it gently out of reach. "It's an axe!! A weapon!! You shouldn't worry about it."
"Wait no it sounds cool though!!" “Orpheus” stands up to try and grab it.
Kade debates amongst himself for a second, before gently letting it into their reach.
They grab it and look over it in amazement. "Ooooo… What do you use it for???"
"Well... cutting trees, usually?"
"Usually? Weapons are for trees?"
"Well, it's also used to cut things like doors down," Kade explains.
"Oooo..." They get up. "Good to know! Thank you, Cerberus!" They hold the axe tightly with both hands and trot off towards the front door.
"Hey, yeah! No problem! ...What are you doing-" Kade asks.
“Orpheus” walks through the front door with a smile, walking to the hallway with Kade not far behind.
“Orpheus” walks into the hallway and opens the bathroom door. "...hmmm... No, no... This is probably an important door." They close the bathroom door and walk over to Harmonia's door. "This'll do!" They reel back and slam the axe into the door with all their strength.
Inside her room, Harmonia wakes up. “WHAT THE FUCK WHAT THE FUCK-”
Kade makes way into the hallway and peers in, stunned. "WWAITWAITIDIDN'TMEANTHATDOOR-"
“Orpheus” pulls the axe out of the door and looks at Kade, preparing to swing again but stopping. "Huh??"
"T-This door doesn't need to be opened that way! Knocking is a good way to open doors!" Kade explains.
"Really?" They knock on the door with the axe.
"Rreally!! Oh my god." Kade sorta just.. pets their head and slowly opens the door.
"Ohhh I see!" They hold the axe.
In her room, Harmonia is half in the window, half out. Her wings getting her stuck as she had tried to go out the window to escape the axe maniac. "I'M STUCK IN THE WINDOW- HELP-”
Kade enters, looking over in bewilderment.
"How the fuck-"
"I'm stuck, my wings too big-” Harmonia says.
“Orpheus” walks in, holding an axe. "That seems like a really inconvenient position!"
"It is!" Kade says to them before turning to Harmonia. "You are. Adorable." He then goes over and tries to help her out.
"All my apes gone," Harmonia says as she’s helped out the window. "I'm not adorable!"
Kade sets her down. "Sorry about that."
"Why is my door being broke down??" Harmonia asks.
"Hi!" Orpheus (?) is standing there holding an axe with two hands! Smiling. Again, left eye white and green, right eye black and green.
Harmonia looks confused. "What did they say??"
"...A gesture of friendship. But they said hi!" Kade explains.
"Gesture of friendship?? Um... so they arent Orpheus right? Also hi-" Harmonia waves nervously at the axe fiend.
They wave back!
"Yeah, quite so-" Kade says to Harmonia before turning to Not!Orpheus. "She said hi back!"
"Um, do they have a name?" Harmonia asks.
"N-not the last time I checked?" Kade says.
Not!Orpheus looks down in thought. "...hmmm...uhmm..." They then look back up at them with a smile and clear their throat. They sound chipper and upbeat, but with a hint of shyness! Also, a small bit of demon speech accent leaking through. Not really sure how that'd sound, but keep it in mind! "How doess... Eurydice sound? Since, you guys keep, like... you knowww! ..Calling me Orpheus. ...isn't that the connection there? those two? ..hold on.."
They take out their phone and after a couple minutes put their phone away. "Yeah, it is!"
"O-oh- Um sure- Sounds good.” Harmonia says.
“Neat!" Says Eurydice.
Kade gives a small smile and nods. "Sounds good to me as well! Very pretty too."
Harmonia smiles nervously.
Eurydice smiles. “Thank you! ...Anyway." They go back over to the door to her room and seem to be contemplating if they should use the axe some more.
"Um... don’t break down my door more please?" Harmonia asks.
"...But what else do you use the axe for, then??" Eurydice asks.
“Um.. hurting people?" Harmonia responds.
"Harm, please-" Kade sighs.
"What?"
"...really..?" Eurydice asks.
"Yeah...?" Harmonia responds.
"Nooo!!! Not at all-" Kade tries to say. "hARM-”
"Neat!" Eurydice swings at Harmonia with the axe!
Harmonia screams and dodges, causing Eurydice to fall over onto the floor, axe lodging into the ground. "SHIT-” Eurydice yells.
Harmonia scuttles away fearfully, shaking.
"H-HEY HEY HOLD ON NOW-" Kade picks them up carefully, the axe left on the ground.
Harmonia is in the corner, terrified and shaking.
"Eeeveeything is okayyy." Kade says to Harmonia before turning to Eurydice. "No swinging!! Okay?"
"A-are you sure?" Harmonia asks.
"..okay! So I'm guessing that was a stupid thing to do! Right??" Eurydice asks Kade.
"In the current circumstances, yes! Only swing at someone when you feel threatened, alright?" Kade turns back to Harmonia. "Yes! Very sure!"
Despite Kades reassurance, Harmonia’s still shaking.
"Okay!" Eurydice isn’t struggling when being held by Kade at all.
Harmonia’s just shoved herself in a corner, freaking out.
Kade slowly sets Eurydice down, giving them a pat on the head and approaching Harmonia. "You alright-?"
Eurydice stands there with a smile and observes.
"I-I just got attacked with an axe.. so not really..." Harmonia responds. Kade gives her horns a poke. She flinches when touched, still freaked out
"Oh, sorry-" Kade gives her a hug.
"It's okay-" Harmonia hugs back, shaking a bit.
Eurydice looks at the axe and nudges it with their hoof a little.
Kade pats her back! Firm hug.
Harmonia clings to him, not watching Eurydice. unaware
Kade keeps the hug going, just trying to provide comfort.
Harmonia hugs him so tight, clinging to the wrath demon. Her head resting on his shoulder.
Eurydice stares at her.
Kade doesn't mind in the slightest! Good hug.
Harmonia hugs him tight, purring slightly.
Eurydice smile fades a little. "..feeling that, just a bit." They huff and pick up the axe, walking off.
Harmonia lets go of Kade. “Did I do something??"
"..Hm?" Kade lifts up as she lets go. "What?"
"They seemed upset?"
Kade turns to notice Eurydice has left, then pets Harm on the head again. "I'll go check in on them!"
"O- okay..."
"But, I'll be back!" Kade heads for the door. "And sorry about the door-"
"It’s okay..." Harmonia responds.
Kade nods and closes it gently.
Eurydice returns to the front yard and sits on the ground where they were with Kade before.
Knight walks out here and waves to “Orpheus.” “Hi?”
Eurydice looks over to Knight, going wide-eyed.
"..uh… H-hi..?" They bring a hand up to their head, wincing. "Oww-that..hurts very suddenly???" They lay back against the ground and huff, dropping the axe and covering their face with their hands.
Knight heads over to them. “Are you okay?”
Kade walks outside, seemingly a bit startled, muttering something under his breath but staying by the door.
Eurydice takes a deep breath in...And exhale, sighing and looking over to Kade. His eyes are back to normal. "That sucks. I officially hate that. Oh my god."
Orpheus rubs his eyes and sits up, looking to Knight.
"..Hi, Alice."
