Spider's nullsuit is removed and she's thrown back in the containment cell with snake man!

"Told you I'd see you soon, didn't I?" She laughs as she stands up.

"Mhm." Kalius smiles, getting up with tremulous movements. "Want out again? Or are you jusst going to give in and rot in your own Impurity."

"Not like it matters if I leave, obviously they know about Harm's place and I have a feeling they'll be wanting me even more than before."

"The cure is right under your ssnout. That little deer girl has a gift."

"And if they just reinfect me?"

"That's not how it worksss."

"Enlighten me, then."

"Why should I? You'll find out." He leans on the wall, looking at her.

"So that's how you wanna play it," Spider sighs, "If she's got this cure why aren't you already gone?"

"It won't work on someone like me," he grins, black blood seeping from his mouth.

"So a dromen, then? Or..a cyborg? Or a Varian? Cause you're a lot of things, mate," she has a slightly amused expression, not fazed at all by the blood.

"A false positive."

Spider raises an eyebrow.

"I'm not sssupposed to exist. And yet, here I am!"

"That why you're in that video, then?" she chuckles.

Kalius tilts his head, "Clever one."

Spider just shakes her head, "She really likes that computer doesn't she?"

"She sure does."

"Personally I don't see what's so great about it," Spider looks at Kalius' arm, it's still there. For now.

"It's preparation for the End."

"A false positive indeed," she mutters before speaking up, "Very interesting, explains the religious talk."

"You know how you and your little friendgroup call this whole red sky thing with Abaddon the end of the world?"

"Obviously," Spider chuckles.

"This is just the beginning. The calm before the storm. Abaddon is nothing compared to what's next. What he's got behind him. Ssomething much, much larger. Grander. What you experienced with Apollyon? Minuscule compared to thiss. You think your old world being turned into that was bad? Watch thiss one become nothing and then some." Kalius laughs, closing his eyes.

"And this place is what, preparing for doomsday?" Spider asks, "Though on second thought, from the way she was talking, it sounds like she'd welcome it."

"This place is creating new gods to combat the Impurity. They've been around for 50 years and there's been one or two successes."

"And this false positive thing?" She gestures at him, "Cause you're looking pretty full limbed for someone who's arm is hooked up to her computer.. at least I'm assuming it's yours."

"It is mine. That's gonna happen to me in around..." He looks down at his arm with the computer in it. "780 days."

"Well good luck with the dismemberment, and do us both a favour and ditch the snake cane, it's just tacky. Jokes aside, I have a guess on how that works but for both our sakes do you just wanna explain?"

"Your friend Knight has time powers. Memphi has similar ones."

"Interesting.."

"Memphi can see through any point in time she pleases, and her computer mirrors those abilities." He looks down to his arm. "Now, this? I don't have those abilities, so I can't mirror them. However, my assisstant does."

"Interesting that you would bring up mirroring," Spider chuckles and looks his arm, "And an assistant eh? So I'm guessing that isn't life support."

"It technically is. She keeps me alive."

"And that's how you're technically a dromen?"

"Mhm."

"Clever, though I dread to think what you had to give up for that deal."

"I gave up nothing. She's as Impure as I am, if not more. She was starving. A dromen who feeds on Impurity... who would've thought?"

"Didn't realize impurity was an emotion," she chuckles.

"It isn't. Addiction can take you over very easily."

"I'm aware. So what's your goal in all this?"

"Does everyone really have to have a goal?"

"In my experience? Yes, and I mean, you're hanging around for something right?"

"You're funny."

"Well look at yourself, slowly rotting while your pet dromen does everything for you, including keeping you alive? That's no life in my opinion, so you have to have some goal in this, right?... make it all worth it?"

"I'll be here when everything is gone. Nothing about me will have changed, save for the arm."

"And if everything is gone then what's the point in that? Instead of rotting in this room you'll be rotting in a bunker instead."

"Not like I can do anything about it."

"says the guy who's gonna survive all this"

"Again, can't do anything about it."

"So we're fucked then, nice to know."

"Everything comes to an end."

"Not for you it seems," Spider sighs, "So got anything else you wanna tell me while we're at it?"

"Nothing you need to know yet."

"Well I look forward to our next chat."

Kalius nods.

"So can I teleport myself out of here or do I have to rely on you?"

"Reality anchors." Kalius taps SONDAR and Spider's teleported home in a flash of black distortion.

---

Spider appears, she sits down on the sofa with a sigh.

Melody sits in the living room and sees Spider. "Spider Fairgreen!!" Smores walks in with Melody, sitting next to her.

Spider stands up to face melody, her expression going from tired to shocked, "What?.."

"That's what Sorath called you!! Spider Fairgreen! She said I can cure you,"

Spider's expression goes stony as she growls, "I don't know where you actually heard that name or why you're calling me it, but it isn't funny."

Lock starts laughing.

"That's what Sorath said...." Melodys ears flatten fearfully.

"Fucking FAIRRRGREEN?!?!?" Lock yells in the wurm voice. Melody looks at Lock, clearly a little afraid of her. Smores holds Melody's hand.

"Bullocks," Spider takes a step closer, "That's not my name ok?"

"But Sorath wouldn't lie-" Melody says, looking up at Spider.

Knight walks in. “What is happening?”

---

Drew is in the backyard making parts of the house next door disappear. So far the entire second floor and most of the first floor are gone. Any valuables are in a pile next to him.

So far there's a 70 in flat screen tv that is being mounted inside the gazebo with a collection of retro game consoles.

Now all that's left of the house is the junk that was in the basement. There's not much good here, except for a bag that had a folder marked "O5-1 eyes only."

"Hmm, I'll be keeping this for later...." He snaps and it disappears. Drew walks inside, the basement being empty now.

---

Ratty, a literal rat with a tophat, runs out from the corner and dives under the couch hoping to remain unnoticed. He grabs the folder down there and begins pulling it towards the front door.

Spider takes a deep breath as black fur starts to grow up her arms, "I'll repeat, that surname is not mine, and I'd highly advise that you forget you heard it."

"But it is yours!!" Melody stands up, "Sorath said so!!!" Smores is still holding Melody's hand, looking up at her slightly worried.

At this point, Ratty has made it out from under the couch with the giant (to him) folder. He is almost to the door.

Spider snarls, taking another step closer to Melody. Melody stands her ground and watches Spider.

“Can we not today?” Knight asks.

"For the last time, that is not my name, it can't be," Spider says.

"Sorath said it is!!!" Melody says. Spider notices Melody's wearing a flower crown of white roses.

Ratty is at the door, completely flummoxed as to how to proceed. He starts making loud squeaking noises, that if I were to translate them, I couldn't say them in polite company.

"I don't care," Spider growls and disappears in a flash of green distortion. Melody sighs and looks down.

Ratty, undeterred, starts dragging the folder towards the kitchen.

Melody looks over at him. "What's the rat doing?"

Ratty drops the folder and looks at Melody. You know the look. He then picks up the folder again and continues on his quest.

Ratty quickly moves into the kitchen. He moves towards the kitchen door. Fortunately the last person to use it didn't shut it all the way. He makes his way through the back door and into the backyard. Ratty drags the file across the grass towards the gazebo and hides it underneath. He then scampers off to parts unknown.
