In the morning, Luna realizes that a demonic force has muted her, making her unable to speak or show emotions until it is lifted, which could last anywhere from an hour to an entire day. She is unable to get around this lock via writing, gestures like a charades game, using her telepathy, or any other methods. Certain topics, such as who muted her or anything related to the Marked’s investigation or any associated demons were also banned. For much of the day, Luna struggled with this limitation.

For some reason, Luna is unable to speak. Nor is Krystal.
“You okay there Lunes?” Knight asks
Luna is silent. She shakes her head. She tries to speak but no words come out.
“Huh, can you try writing it down or using the funky telepathy thing?”
Luna tries to write but it all goes wild. She tries telepathy but even that's silenced.
“Well fuck. Charades maybe? Or images? Sign language?”
Silence.
Any attempts of charades just translate into Orange Justice
“Oh wait! Yes or no questions!”
She nods.
“Okay, Is this related to whatever the fuck Peyton is doing?”
Silence.
“Okay…Is this a curse?”
Nods.
“Did that Blyeth fellow curse you?”
Silence. Topics related to Byleth or Maiden are banned.
“Hmm… Is the curse related to the Marked situation in any way, shape or form?”
Silence.
“Is it because of something you did?”
Luna thinks for a moment before returning to silence. Thinking it over, she shakes her head.
“Okay, So to recap: You were cursed and the only way we know of for you to communicate is through yes and no.”
Nods.
“Is there something that someone doesn’t want you to say?”
Silence.
“So Silence is a I don’t know and/or you can’t answer right?”
Nods.
“Okay.”
Luna tries to type something and show it to Knight but it all looks like gibberish.
“Damn. this is a pickle and a half”
Knight sighs.
“You were cursed recently right?”
Luna thinks for a moment. Nods.
She shows him the cucumber, one that landed on her lap this morning. She was able to ask about it vocally.
“Okay?”
Luna gets up smelling pancakes.
Knight follows.

In the kitchen, Chris had finished cooking a massive breakfast for his housemates. Many stacks of pancakes were made and most of [the kiss] was in there eating.
She walks in and silently serves herself.
"Morning, Lunes." says Chris
Silence.
"everything ok Luna?" asks Spider
"Erm..." says Chris
Luna shakes her head.
Knight walks in. “Mind if I were to tell them Luna?”
"Morning" greets Harmonia
She nods and eats in total silence as a couple tears drop.
“Okay, Luna has been cursed to be silent. The only form of communication we know of that she can use is yes and no.” Knight explains for Luna
"Byleth?" Chris asks
Silence.
“I would’ve said something in the gc but Peyton is there.” Knight explains
Luna notes that and opens her phone.
"Cole is asleep still, so this is... rather troubling news." Chris says
'Who cursed her???" Harmonia asks, worried
Silence.
“We don’t know” Knight says
Luna attempts to send Knight a telepathic message but even that's blocked.
“It even affects the telepathy.”
"Goddamn. Luna, do you know who did it?" Harmonia asks
Silence.
"Is that a, you have a guess but not confirmation?" Harmonia wonders
Silence.
“Silence means either I don’t know or I can’t answer.” Knight explains
Nods.
"OK, was thinking that." Chris says "Is it only this morning?"
"I see. So you cant answer?" Harmonia asks
“Started a bit ago.” Knight adds
Nods.
"Fuck" Harmonia says. "So maybe you found out something you werent supposed to and were silenced?"
Silence.
"You should eat. Are you thirsty?" Harmonia says
“I would try to see if I could reverse the curse using my wacky time powers but I’m not sure it would work.” Knight says
Luna continues eating but nods on the thirsty question.
"Or... considering last night Peyton showed their hand, then it's probably something related to songs or chanting or something of the like. Songs have been featured a lot recently in that case." Chris adds
"Do you want water?" Harmonia asks
Nods.
Harmonia gets her some water

At this point, in the group chat, Luna tried to type something out, but it came out as gibberish.

Luna looks to Harmonia and shakes her head
Luna tries typing "no" and shows it to Harmonia, but it comes out as "tjengneigmenfb2ixj3"
Harmonia looks confused. "Is it just a keysmash then?"
Nods.
"I see"
"This is classic obfuscation. We have no way to communicate besides yes and no." Chris says
Nods.
"Did you say anything yesterday that might be construed as a chant, a song, anything of the like?" He asks
Shakes head.
"A poem?"
Shakes head.
Chris wrinkles his eyebrows in thought while eating.
Luna finishes her plate and the water. She tries to mouth ‘thank you’ but even her lips are unable to move
"Itll be okay." Harmonia places a hand on Lunas shoulder
She can't even smile.
Harmonia gives Luna a gentle pat pat on the head. If Luna could blush, she’d be blushing profusely.
Spider sighs and asks "Do you want a hug Lunes?"
Nods.
She stands up and pulls Luna into a comforting hug. "It'll be ok yeah?"
Luna nods and accepts the hug
She unhugs and notices her phone.
She wishes she could be excited but she's blocked from even that. In any case, Luna types some exclamation marks and shows it to Harmonia
Harmonia grins at her and smiles
Chris finishes his meal, and puts the plate and glass away, before stepping outside.
Luna walks out and heads back to the living room, while Spider and Harmonia playfully wrestle on the kitchen floor.

For the rest of the day, it was about the same for Luna. She couldn’t speak, communicate, or even smile or cry. It was one of the worst punishments she had ever experienced. Later that evening, in the group chat, the person who cursed her made herself known to [The Kiss]
