Spider and Melody appear in what looks like an old church hallway. It's overgrown with grass, roses, and black vines of Impurity. All the roses are black. The lights are off. They can hear heavy rain outside. Their cough is gone.

"What the actual fuck?" Spider groans, wiping her mouth. Melody looks around, whimpering and coughing up anything extra in her throat. They can hear a light skittering from one of the halls.

"Fuck it," Spider heads towards the noise.

Melody follows, whimpering in pain. "Everything hurts.." She whines.

"Welcome to life," Spider mutters before speaking up, "You okay?"

"N-no.. she said she'd eat me if I tried to heal again... I think I'm gonna die here..." Melody tears up.

"Hey it's okay, I won't let her," they continue walking towards the noise.

"Okay,," Melody follows her, staying close. There appears to be several shredded paintings on the walls, covered in Impurity. The skittering gets louder as they walk. Spider glances at the paintings as she walks, trying to make out any details. The only visible detail in the paintings is the top, which show a cathedral wall and a white veil. All the paintings are identical. Melody is shaking and holding her neck in pain.

"That's..interesting," Spider mutters and continues heading towards the noise.

They enter an overgrown cathedral. The floor is covered in tall grass and rose bushes. It's still dark, and the roses are still black. There's more Impurity vines. There's a strong presence here. Melody seemingly wants to cling to Spider but holds back, hugging herself. Spider looks around, trying to pinpoint where the presence is coming from. As they near the front of the cathedral, the presence is at it's strongest. There's a very large altar with many offerings on it, and an unharmed painting at the top. The painting shows a blonde lady with wings on the sides of her head and white roses in her hair. She's wearing a green dress and cloak, and has larger wings on her back. She's standing in a cathedral, and she has a white veil or curtain in front of her.

Melody looks upon it, tilting her head. Spider notes this, looking at the offerings. The older ones look like flowers, fruits, gold, and jewels. However, the newer ones... Flesh, skulls, broken pieces of muscle and skin. Whole eyes. Organs. Hands. Melody trembles with fear, imagining her head as an offering.

"So we're dealing with a psycho... brilliant," Spider sighs. Something is thrown on the ground behind them. Melody turns to look.

"Aaaand I'm not falling for that trap, lemme know what you see," Spider says, and doesn't turn around. A tall, featureless figure wearing a suit lays in the grasses. Oh. There's a chunk bitten out of its head. It's bleeding a black, oily substance. It smells radioactive. Too liquidy to be the Impurity, and Melody would probably be able to tell the difference.

Melody squeaks in fear. “S-spider- look-“

"If we get killed I'm blaming you," Spider jokes as she turns around, upon seeing the figure she tilts her head in thought, "..is...is that a Nightmare? Or a Dromen or whatever they're called nowadays."

“It's not bleeding impurity…” Melody says.

"So Dromens have black blood then? That's interesting," Spider says.

“What's a Dromen?” Melody asks.

"That..I think," Spider points at the corpse.

“I-I see…”

Sondar appears in front of them. Six black, feathered wings extend out from her back as she sinks her teeth into another Dromen. It squirms before it dies, emitting normal slendersickness that suddenly stops as it dies. Sondar eats the rest of its head before dropping it to the ground.

Sondar, now much larger at around 25ft, kneels down to Melody.

"𝙼𝚢 𝚗𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚕," she chuckles, picking up the small deer girl with her long claws. As she stands, shadows begin dancing around her. Her hair blows away from her face, and Melody can see two bright white, serpentine eyes. "𝙳𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜, 𝙼𝚎𝚕𝚘𝚍𝚢?"

Melody is trembling and crying, “Please no- please- I don't want to die-“ She growls as she eyes up sondar, her nails morph into claws and she rushes at Sondar, aiming to stab her claws into her. Sondar screeches, dropping Melody. Vines exit the wound and grab Spider by the wrist.

"𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚏𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚍𝚘𝚐."

Melody yelps as she hits the ground and looks at the altar to see if theres anything she can use to stab Sondar, and sees some sharp bones. She grabs a couple and runs over, stabbing Sondar to try and help Spider. Spider attempts to bite down on the vines, her teeth seem unnaturally sharp. The vines spread across Spider's face, latching onto her and throwing her into a pillar. She gasps as she hits the pillar. Sondar screams as she's stabbed, climbing up a different pillar. Melody stays on the ground, looking at the bone before trying to throw it like a spear at Sondar. The bone doesn't reach.

Spider teleports in front of Sondar, about chest height, and reaches up. She wraps her hands around Sondar's throat, her hands burning hot to the touch. Spider's hands get covered in Impurity, it spreads all over her arms, spreading into her veins and causing discoloration all over her arms. Sondar smiles, her eyes glowing white as she stares at Spider.

Melody looks back at Spider. “Spider?” Spider growls and continues holding onto Sondar's throat, stabbing her claws in. Sondar grabs onto Spider, tearing her away. Sondar's neck bleeds Impurity, dripping down to the ground below them. Sondar throws Spider down to the ground as well! Melody runs to Spider and tries to heal her. Spider snarls as she hits the floor, scrambling up to her feet, death glaring Sondar and ignoring Melody.

As Melody attempts to heal, Sondar drops down from the pillar! Before she can reach them, though, they disappear in a flash of sunlight. They are back in Harmonia's house.
