Spider drops down from the roof, she looks over at Sparrow. "Hi.."

Sparrow waves.

Spider looks at him a second before sighing. "So it's really you…?

He nods.

"Can you still use the link?" Spider asks.

Sparrow shakes his head.

Spider sighs again. "You know why I'm skeptical right? Like I want it to be you but…" She trails off taking a deep breath. "I don't want to get hurt again."

Sparrow watches quietly.

"Did anyone tell you about what happened?" Spider asks.

Sparrow tilts his head.

"Abaddon impersonated you, made us think you'd come back."

Sparrow sighs.

"Yeah…" Spider pauses. "Anyways, I wanted to apologize."

Sparrow listens.

"I'm sorry for everything that's happened.. especially… well you know." She brings a hand to her neck before dropping it and continuing. "And yes I know an apology isn't gonna fix it but it's a step in the right direction right?" Spider chuckles humorlessly before sighing and sitting down on the steps.

Sparrow gets up and walks in the house. Sparrow steps back outside with a glass of water.

Spider looks over and raises an eyebrow.

He dumps the water on her.

Spider shakes her head in an attempt to dry herself slightly. "Yeah, I deserve that."

Sparrow sets the glass down and folds his arms.

"So?" Spider asks.

Sparrow waits.

"You want me to go?"

A cold hand rested on Spider's shoulder.

"You're not leaving until you learn something, Spider." Her vision begins to become spotty. Spots of pure... nothingness. Not white, not black, just... nothing. Her form begins to glitch, becoming lines. And then... Snap. She doesn't feel as she normally would. She feels blood flowing through her, she feels the breeze on her skin. She feels a burning hand on her shoulder.

"The fuck?" Spider says.

Raine kneels down beside her, his hand gripping the back of her neck. His eyes are shifting between the diamond shape and normal eye shape, his slit mouth full of sharp teeth. "Do you want to know how it felt?"

Sparrow freezes up as he watches.

"I do not care what happens to me anymore so take that as you will." Spider is unfazed by Raine's appearance.

Raine smiles, slicing her head off with a clean-cut, smiling. She doesn't die. She remains conscious as he painfully reattaches her head, and then does it again!

Spider just takes it, showing no reaction.

Raine's face erupts into pure white flame as he reattaches her head along the seam, completely healing it, but he begins to strangle her. His dark claws digging into her skin, she begins to feel form burning away. She feels empty, meaningless. She feels everything and nothing at once.

The spots in her vision begin to appear again, her vision starting to go grayscale, and then she can only see Raine. Her vision goes completely white as she no longer feels her body, she feels nothing, she is nothing. She hears screams, fading screams. She sees a blurry field, an old friend standing in it. Her vision returns mostly to normal, but with the spots growing more as Raine continues to strangle her, his face a blinding white flame.

Spider closes her eyes and just gives in.

Sparrow is frozen in pure fear.

Spider begins to feel pain. Pure pain. She sees red, black, pulsating flesh surrounding her. She sees nothing. She sees everything. She sees herself standing in a forest alone with Raine. He's far away despite being right in front of her, digging into her neck.

Sparrow disappears.

Spider's thrown back against a tree, hard. She feels the pain throughout her body as she falls to the ground, her vision fully saturated with color once again. The only spot in her vision being Raine, the 10' tall beast with a body of black flame and a face of white. She feels different. Something's changed. She doesn't feel like she did an hour ago, that's for sure. She feels much more... human.

She groans and gets up, using the tree to support herself.

Lol no she doesn't. Tentacles emerge from the trees, impaling and snapping her Achilles tendons

Spider gasps as the tentacles puncture her skin, the gasp turns into small groans of pain.

"You will wait here for one of your friends to heal you, that is, if they even want to." Raine says.

Spider ignores him, clenching a fist.

Raine flickers out like a flame being blown out, vanishing.

She takes a deep breath and reaches down, attempting to pull the tentacles out.

With a flash of gold light, Drew appears nearby, leaning against a tree. "Need some help?"

Spider sighs. "Why do you care?"

"You're one of my oldest friends at this point, with Photo being MIA and Keene and Tiernan being all but unreachable, and because I can. You don't deserve my help after the awful shit you said, but I'm helping you anyway because it's the right thing to do." Drew says.

Spider closes her eyes mumbling something before speaking up. "...I'm sorry about all that…"

"I accept your apology. Now, let's see about getting those things out of your heel." He kneels down and attempts to remove the tentacle things.

They dissipate into a shadowy smoke.

Spider mumbles something again. Drew can barely make out what she's saying.

"What's that?" He asks.

Spider speaks, a bit louder this time. "I don't know what to do now, I'm sick of feeling of like this, and I mean I'm human now… so I could very easily take the easy way out." She sighs, clenching both fists now.

"That's not the easy way. Now hold on, this might sting a little." Drew holds his hands over the area that was pierced and closes his eyes. "I've never done this before."

"Sure it is." Spider says.

"Trust me, as someone who tried to do it twice, it's not as easy as you think." Drew says through clenched teeth, eyes still closed. Spiders' feet begin to glow with golden light.

"It's easier than doing this."

"Easier than living when you've lost everything and everyone you care about?" Drew asks.

"Pretty much." Spider says. "After all, it's not like I can change."

"That's when you have to look at God or the Universe or whatever fucker runs this shitshow and tell them you're going to keep going just to spite them. They made you suffer but you get to make it their problem." Drew opens his eyes and lets his hands drop. "And anyone can change. You just have to want to change." He stands back up and holds out his hand. "Let's see how that healing thing worked out."

"I tried to change and everything got worse, I have no idea how to deal with everything so I end up hurting people..." She trails off and sighs, taking his hand and attempting to stand up. "I'm just… so fucking tired of this..."

Sparrow steps outside, slamming the door behind him.

"That's how it was for me at first. I hurt people. Hell, I got my first group of friends after I lost my family killed because I lashed out. You aren't always going to have the answers. I sure as hell don't. Just do the best you can and when you hurt people, be willing to admit you're wrong even and especially if you don't think you are." Drew turns at the sound of the door slamming. "Friend of yours?"

"It's Terminal." Spider says.

"Wait but I thought..." Drew trails off.

Sparrow nods.

"Somehow, he came back." Spider looks over at him.

Sparrow looks fucking pissed.

"Yes, I know you're mad at me, and I understand why." Spider says.

Sparrow raises an eyebrow, taps his foot, and folds his arms.

"I'm sorry, it was an accident and I know that doesn't excuse it, so, what can I do to make it up to you?" Spider asks.

Drew steps back, not wanting to be in the middle of... Whatever this is.

Sparrow shakes his head.

"So, what do you want then?" Spider asks.

Sparrow points at Drew.

Drew points at himself questioningly.

Sparrow points at Drew again then at Spider, then resumes folding his arms.

"I always hated charades." Drew says.

Sparrow points at his throat and proceeds to make a sound like gravel in a blender in attempt to speak. "Acaccackckckckkkkkk-"

Drew winces at the sound. "Charades it is then." He thinks for a minute. "You want us to talk?"

Sparrow nods.

"We've been talking the whole time I've been here."

Sparrow looks directly at Spider and points at the sky.

"That conversation again?" Spider asks.

Sparrow gives an exaggerated nod.

"What conversation?" Drew asks.

Spider ignores Drew for now. "What, you're mad because I can't hack it anymore?"

Sparrow points at Drew and makes a talking motion with his hand.

Spider sighs looking over at Drew.

"It was a conversation we had, we talked for a bit, and some similar points that we've been talking about came up about sticking it to God an' all that, I don't know why he's bringing it up though."

"Probably to tell you I'm right," Drew says, trying to hold a laugh in.

"I get that part, don't get why he gives a toss though,” Spider says.

“About me being right or about sticking it to God?" Drew asks.

“All of it, cause I hurt him, he has every right not to care about me anymore, so why is he?" Spider asks.

"Because it's not so much about me being right as two people have told you the same thing now so there must be something to that." Drew says.

Sparrow applauds Drew.

"He cares because he loves you, Spider. I can't say it any more simply than that. But it's extremely clear based on what you've said." Drew explains.

Spider mumbles something again, pulling out a switchblade and starting to fiddle with it.

Sparrow walks up to Spider and backhands her across the face.

Spider shakes her head, dropping the blade. "What did I do now?"

Sparrow looks frustrated as he flips her off and heads back to the front door.

Spider sighs, picking up the blade and putting it away.

Sparrow slams the door as he heads inside.

"I'll try to talk to him," Drew said, wincing because of the slam.

"Just don't try to talk me up or any of that bollocks" Spider flinches at the slam.

"I'll be right back." Drew says, entering the house.

"Sure.” Spider sighs and leans against a tree pulling out her phone.
