Claire appears, shoulder deep in a dark liquid. It doesn't seem to be getting her wet or staining her, but it's slightly more difficult to move through than water would be. It's pitch black, like ink, but with a slight sheen to it, oil. There's a flickering floodlight affixed to the wall above her, and a wall that shows a corner disappearing around the bend.

Claire groans, her pupils becoming white as she slowly moves towards the bend.

Claire finds herself here, the oil draining down to being ankle deep. It seems to be a fairly empty room, clearly underground. Possibly an unfinished basement. She can hear something chitter in the distance, in the corner of the room. In the center of the room, there's a staircase, oil pouring down it, showing no signs of stopping.

Claire nonchalantly walks towards the chittering.

She reaches the corner of the room, but nothing seems to be there...

Claire turns around and walks to the staircase to examine it.

It seems to be a concrete staircase, like one you'd find when exiting a subway.

Claire gazes upon the oil.

It flows smoothly, and seems to stick onto the walls and handles of the staircase, but not onto Claire at all. It seems, unnatural. It looks like it should be a fairly thick liquid, but it almost moves as if it were dyed water.

She examines the rest of the room

The walls are vaguely stained with the oil-like liquid, and it's clear they're made of concrete. The floor isn't visible, being covered with oil, and the concrete is undecorated in any sense. No signs of furniture, either.

She walks up the staircase without skipping a beat

Claire finds herself neck-deep in the oil, there's a clear submarine door across the room, but it's slightly obscured by a large number of pipes running all throughout it. The oil in here is a bit uncomfortably warm. Along with that, the noises she heard earlier in the other room are louder, and there are more of them. Following her in.

Claire tries to walk toward the submarine. At some point, she attempts to swim.

She sees something move across the wall for just a moment, before feeling something else brush along her leg, biting down on it.

Claire looks down at her leg and swims towards a wall to hold on before taking her leg out of the water to look at the thing.

It's some sort of eel. It has an angular, jagged body as if bones were placed haphazardly into it without any sort of thought or care. Its deep purple eyes contrast its inky black skin, soaked in the oil. It thrashes around, deepening the bite.

"Oh. That's a low poly eel. There's a low poly eel biting me." Claire grabs it by the tail and tries TEARING IT OUT.

It's ripped out, and it writhes around in her hand, delivering a nasty shock.

Claire SCREAMS and throws the eel.

It screams a very human scream as it hits the wall, might want to move quick!

Claire starts power swimming towards the submarine, though a little awkwardly as she tries not to get any oil near her wound

She appears to make it without any more issues or harm.

She examines the submarine but it seems to be an ordinary submarine door.

Claire enters!
