Harmonia steps outside dragging Sparrow behind her. She turns Sparrow to look at her, "What the fuck is up with you?”
Sparrow is holding her own wounded hand "I'm telling you they are gonna eat our brains."
Harmonia sighs and takes out her phone. Spider walks out looking at the two as one of her ears flicks.
Harmonias still holding Sparrow by the scruff "Think you can handle her? She tried to attack Cole and Barrett for being aliens or some shit."
"I heard, and yeah I can" Spider nods as Harmonia walks away.
"Not ‘or some shit’ that exactly" Sparrow grumbles.
Harmonia drops Sparrow infront of Spider, "Id keep her away from them"
Spider nods and watches Sparrow.
"Anyway I gotta question for you" Sparrow speaks up.
"For who?"
"You, what's your opinion on sticks?"
"You're really gonna beat your own girlfriend with a bat?” Spider raises an eyebrow at Sparrow.
"So is that a yay or nay on sticks?" Sparrow raises an eyebrow back.
"Obviously it's a no"
A bat appears in Sparrow’s hands as she swings at Spider.
"fucks sake" Spider mutters as she ducks and tackles Sparrow around the waist to push her to the ground. Sparrow bonks her on the head. Spider growls threateningly and attempts to pin Sparrow with one arm and grab the bat with the other. Spider feels what seems to be blood on the handle as she takes it away.
"Oh no fair" Sparrow whines.
"If I let you up, are you gonna behave like a sane person again?" Spider growls lightly.
"What is sane?"
The part of Spiders hand that touched the bat starts feeling somewhat numb
"Not trying to beat anyone up with a damn bat for starts" Spider glances at her hand to see that Sparrow’s blood was orange and groans as she chucks the bat across the yard. Spider wipes her hand on the grass. The grass she wipes it on starts shriveling up and turning black. Spider looks down at Sparrow, a suspicious look on her face "Now since when was your blood orange?"
Sparrow spits in Spider’s eyes as she shoves her off with alot of force. Spider gets back up and is crouching slightly as if prepared to spring at her as she watches Sparrow like a hawk.
Sparrow gets up and snickers to herself some "Got ya in the face!"
Spider bares her teeth as she wipes her face before speaking "So since you're clearly not Sparrow. That leaves the question of who you are"
"Daw you think I'm gonna say, that's cute" Sparrow smiles happily.
"good job I have a guess then" Spider snarls as the bat from before appears in her hands, she makes sure to wipe the blood off using her shirt then adjusts her grip on it.
"Really? Cuz we've never met before I believe" Sparrow keeps a smile.
"Either way it's not like it matters" Spider swings the bat at Sparrow’s head.
Sparrow stumbles to the side from the force as there's a crack heard. She now has an orange cut along her forehead. She shakes her head some "Wow that one was a DOOZY!"
Spider smiles though it's quite clearly fake as she repeats the swing "Hm quite."
Sparrow’s appearance partly melts and flickers
"So where is she?" Spider attempts to strike at their ribs this time. It stumbles to the side, its height flickers to around 8 feet. Something dark.
"Answer me" Spider snarls, aiming for its knees this time.
The illusion of Sparrow is completely gone now. Standing in front of Spider is a tall creature with puffs of light fluffy fur around its neck and arms with a few stars and pieces of confetti stuck to it. It has sharp demonic teeth...well except for its front teeth that look like they grew in wrong. Long bent horns grow from their head and a pair of scrappy fluffy wings on her back. Her ribs can be seen in the darker part of her body and her lower half is a long dress that drags quite a bit on the ground. She has simple wide eyes as she smiles happily at Spider. She stumbles some from the hit.
"Alright a simpler question then, what are you?" Spider doesn't attack this time instead watching the creature carefully.
She has a cutesy voice and a bit of a lisp as she has to stick out her tongue to pronounce some letters "I'm a new great friend!" She smiles and holds out her arms.
"Great answer, and you impersonated my girlfriend why?" Spider readies the bat for another swing.
"I kinda felt bad when they disappeared so I wanted to help out. It was really fun though!"
"When did she disappear?" Spider sounds close to losing it now.
"A couple of awhile agos. She was kinda boring sometimes so I hope I did good at playing her up some"
"Where did she go?"
"You know how places are"
"You better tell me right now or I swear I will make you regret revealing yourself"
"You know things are more fun in a group can't I just tell everyone all at once instead I tell yoouu, you tell themmm, they ask meee, I tell them agaiiinnn. Its just a big ol head ache"
"Fine, but if you try anything I will cave your skull in" Spider motions for it to head inside with the bat.
"Good thing I have a thick skull" She nods and goes to follow, the part of the dress that drags moves like a snake behind her. They both head into the house. Luna and Cole are in the livingroom.
"Uhhhh hi." Luna waves to the creature that’s walked in behind Spider.
Cole stares at the creature as he whispers "I wanna call it a slur."
Spider walks in still holding the bat and watching the creature closely "So?"
"Did you need us for something?" Luna asks.
The creature rubs the side of her own arm as her ears go down some "...well...uhhh...hmm getting a bit of stage fright all of the sudden"
"and I'm itching to use this bat, so get over it" Spider grumbles.
"Good." Cole stands up and keeps staring at it.
"Please, go ahead." Luna smiles.
"Can you just uhh not look directly at me?" the creature asks.
"Why not?" Cole asks.
"So I can say where" the creature smiles nervously.
"Where what?" Cole looks away from it for a millisecond and deeply sniffs then looks back at the creature.
"Ok thank you, means alot really" the creature clears her throat "Ok so like, I stole them both and took them to my place for a bit"
"And is she safe?" Spider sounds very pissed off.
"Um. Why did you steal them?" Luna asks.
".....did you take Isaac?" Cole has a halo that begins to glow bright enough to blind himself, the cracks in the halo glow a slight green.
The creature nods "They're both perfectly fine, don't worry. Safest place they could be too. I just reeeeaaallllyyy wanted to meet some of the nonferals from the old timeline. If you're not aware that's like reeeaallly rare."
"I don't care, bring them back" Spider grumbles.
"Bring our friends back please." Luna adds.
"Or take us there I'm not fussed" Spider shrugs.
Cole's eyes glow pink "I will tear you limb from fucking limb if you don't bring them back."
"Get in line" Spider adds.
The creature takes a deep breath "Ok ok ok, you guys clearly really like these guys, how about I take you there and make it up for you guys too with like food or something?"
".....sure" Cole's eyes return to normal.
“Ummm, okay?" Luna says.
"As long we get them back I don't give a shit what you do" Spider adds.
"Okokokokokok Lemme...uhhh" the creature glances around some "Ok so like we can get there I think. Just uh, follow me real quic-" She disappears.
"What. Did she just..." Luna pauses.
"non-feral earth-" Cole disappears.
"Oh come on." Luna grumbles.
"you need a lift?" Spider asks.
"May i? Oh wait, are we all going?"
"far as I know, now come on" Spider holds her hand out as Luna takes her hand. They both disappear.
Cole, Luna, and Spider appear in the lighthouse.
"Oh hey. So I guess we're heading back up?" Luna says.
Cole shrugs "probably" Cole walks up the stairs as the others follow
When they head up they see the world around them is different. The plants are golden, orange, and yellow, the sky is white and light gray. The trees are red and sea green. They can see the creature making her way down a path.
"Not gonna lie, Fall makes this place beautiful. Anyway." Luna goes next to Cole, "Can I have a ride down please?"
"Climb on" Cole nods and kneels down. Luna climbs on. Cole stands back up and vaults the railing and crouches down again.
As soon as they're down, she climbs down. "Thank you."
Spider’s form glitches into green lines as she jumps down.
"Alright, let's catch up to her." Luna begins following the path as the others follow. They all enter a large white tent that the path leads into. They see a tea party set out in the center on the dirt. Sparrow is sitting gracefully and sipping tea. Isaac is sleeping in a chair with his head back and snoring loudly.
The creature gestures at the other seats "We can have a tea party"
"Um, okay. Sounds rather lovely." Luna smiles as she sits down, though wary.
Spider makes a beeline towards Sparrow, she looks at her. "Sparrow?"
Sparrow looks over "Spi!" She drops the tea and gets up as she hugs her.
"..it's you?" Spider hugs back tightly as she sniffs her, their tail starting to wag slowly.
"Yeah it's me" Sparrow smells horrid as usual.
"Definitely you" Spider hugs her tighter.
"Oh thank goodness you're safe Sparrow." Luna breathes a sigh of relief.
Cole smiles and walks over to Isaac and taps him on the shoulder.
Isaac jerks awake "I-I didnt eat it all" he mumbles before blinking and looking at Cole.
"isaac, I already made up with Chris we can make up later just know that I'm incredibly sorry and I can promise that it won't happen again" Tears well up in Cole's eyes that she quickly wipes away.
"We can save that talk for later maybe? I might have ate all the sugar cubes..." Isaac mumbles the last part.
"We can save that for later yeah and I don't care isaac, I'm just glad your alive right now" Cole hugs isaac tightly.
"This is soooo sweet!!!" The being says as she watches them all.
Luna turns to the creature, "So uhh what's your name?" She asks this with a slight smile.
"Haven't picked one yet, just so many to pick from, I want em all really" The creature giggles.
"That's super cute, well I hope you find a name that's fitting for you." Luna smiles a bit more "Did you have some in mind? I might be able to help you pick."
"Are you forgetting they took these two?" Spider pulls back from the hug to look at Luna.
Cole stops hugging Isaac "yeah, i'm not helping them at all."
"I have not, but I am trying to show her some kindness. Better to have an ally that made a poor mistake than to have a full-blown enemy on our hands." Luna sighs.
"I mean I've already clobbered 'em so it's too late for that" Spider adds.
"I mean look, if they wanted to hurt us, they probably would have by now. Especially if they're connected to Nyx." Luna mentions.
Spider sighs "If you wanna help them then I can't stop you, I'm gonna need a bit though"
Luna nods "Perfectly reasonable Spider. They actually did hurt the two of you, so I won't blame you for not helping me."
The creature speaks up as she points at Spider and Luna “You two talk ALLOOOTTT"
"Yeah they do" Cole snickers.
"Shut it you, just cause Sparrows fine doesn't mean you're off the hook" Spider growls at the creature as her ears perk up.
Luna rolls her eyes at Cole, ”Anyway, are we free to take Sparrow and Isaac home?"
"You are home" The creature smiles.
"I mean Harmonia's House. Not this house." Luna begins to get a little annoyed.
"I mean...I would stay here if it meant I got to stay with Isaac" Cole mutters.
Spider shakes her head "yeah no, I'm not sticking around to get the Lucille treatment"
The creature looks baffled "Do you know how rare it is to come across a group like you guys? Having a 5th one would be insane!"
"A fifth one?" Luna raises an eyebrow.
"you won't be saying that in a months time" Spider chuckles.
"what do you mean a 5th one?" Cole asks.
The creature replies "I have 4 other groups like yours around here. Happy as can be"
"yeah you're alright ta" Spider says.
"I see. Could we see them? They sound really nice." Luna asks.
"...sure you do" Cole adds.
"They're all hanging out a bit further away from here, could take some walking" the creature mentions.
"Hmm. Whatcha think guys? I'm down to go see them, mostly out of blatant curiosity, but I'd also like to head back." Luna asks the others.
"As long we don't stay and everyone gets out, I don't mind what we do" Spider replies.
"God I want to go back" Isaac grumbles.
"To be fair I don't like hanging out with my kidnapper?" Sparrow mumbles.
"Fair. I do have a quick question for you though." Luna turns to the being. "Did you also set up the crap with the hay and his skin?"
“Don’t recall” The creature smiles.
Spider looks at Sparrow as she holds out her hand. "You wanna go then?"
"Yeah" Sparrow takes her hand.
"I see. Okay, yeah I think it's time for us to head back.” Luna, Spider, and Sparrow disappear.
"...." Cole grabs Isaac and they disappear aswell.
The creature stands by the empty tea party for a moment as she blinks ".....well darn"
