He reappears with all his stuff in the same position he was before.

"Oh hey, welcome back," Luna says.

Brian looks around, feeling his pocket for the key. “Apologies for that.”

"Oh, it's okay. Where did you go?" Harmonia looks back at him.

“The God wanted to have a chat, manage my expectations,” Brian says.

"Enoch?" Harmonia asks.

"Enoch? He's um... well I wouldn't call him a 'God' per se." Luna says.

“They're close enough for me,” Brian says.

“Fucking hell.." Spider mutters.

"Then again, the Gods I generally help out in their day to day are kinda... erm. Well, one's so high right now that she cannot speak and has been that high for a week now." Luna says.

Harmonia pauses. "Um... Brian... where have you been? What's your life been like since... y’know..."

Brain rubs his neck awkwardly. “Well, that's… a long story. Recently? It's just been surviving… my group passed a little bit ago…. So that's been hard.”

"Oh... I'm sorry," Harmonia says softly.

Knight walks in and lays on the floor near the entranceway to the kitchen.

Spider sighs and relaxes, scratching lightly at their arm.

Brian shakes his head. “It’s alright… how about you? You certainly look a lot different than the ultrasounds.” He gives a soft chuckle.

Harmonia blushes. "Well... Abaddon kinda... killed me and so now I'm part demon... mostly demon? And uh. Yeah... A lot’s happened..." She says sheepishly.

Spider closes her eyes clenching her fists, after a minute she shifts, the large black wolf pads over to the sofa and jumps up onto it curling up with her ears flattened against her skull.

Luna grabs her laptop and works on Omni Pie.

Brian eyes widen. "Oh lord- That's- I'm so sorry-"

Harmonia looks away nervously. "It happens..."

"Kid that's not a good response to that- You died?" Brian asks.

Harmonia nods and takes off the ring that covers her death voids. He can see her neck is completely black, 2 spots on her wrists, and she lifts up her shirt a bit to show the void where she was impaled.

Wolf Spider had fallen asleep at some point, cue wolfy snoring sounds.

Luna wants to pet Spider so badly, but she won't. She quite enjoys having two hands.

Brian looks over his daughter, alarmed. "Does that hurt?"

Harmonia shakes her head and puts the ring back on, voids disappearing. "Just discoloration."

"That's good... and your hand..." Brian motions to The Playwrights symbol.

"Oh- It replaced Abaddon's sigil when the Playwright helped bring me back to life," Harmonia says.

"Mm... It helped you?" Brian asks.

The snoring is interrupted by a growl as Spider’s paw twitches.

Harmonia nods. "It's been mostly helpful so far... why?"

"Can't say I've had a similar experience," Brian says.

"What do you mean?" Harmonia asks.

"It's a long story... Let's just say I'm familiar with it."

“With Playwright?" Luna asks.

"I see..." Harmonia says.

"Mhm.." Brian says.

"No offense, but I'm kinda surprised you're so... what's the word, seemingly used to seeing people like me and Spider just... here," Luna says. "Like I'm a purple cat and Spider's a sleepy wolf lady."

"I was lead to my long lost daughter by an omniscient God-powered entity in an apocalypse where another God-like entity has thrust the world into a zombie apocalypse. Disney characters don't... really surprise me?" Brian says.

Harmonia laughs.

"I see, that's reasonable Brian," Luna says.

"Hey Harmonia, do you know if there's a gas station that still has electricity around here?" Brian asks.

"Probably. Why do you ask?" Harmonia asks.

"Wanna find a working slushie machine."

"Oh, we can do that. Wanna see something cool?" Harmonia grins.

"Have fun." Luna says.

Brian tilts his head. "Sure."

Harmonia stands and motions for him to follow.

He does so and Harmonia leads him into the funny door to a comfortable, bouncy room with soft lighting and a brand new slushie machine.

Brian looks around. "What is this?"

"This door is magical so it can make whatever rooms we want! Here, have a slushie" Harmonia grins, her wings fluttering happily.

He looks between the flavors and makes a small cherry slushie. "You've got a lot of magic, don't you?"

Harmonia nods. "Yeah, we're all kinda messed up around here.”

"It's impressive. The magic part, not the messed up part. It's hard not to be in this environment." Brian says.

She nods. "Yeah"

He flops down on the bouncy floor, his weight bouncing Harmonia up a bit. "So. What's your story?"

"What do you mean" Harmonia jumps down and bounces as well.

"How've you survived in this place?"

"Fighting and getting hurt. A lot." Harmonia says, sighing.

Brian nods. "I think that's a constant... I still need to get a new sweatshirt..."

Harmonia nods and closes her eyes and when she opens them there's a new sweatshirt on the floor! "Ta daaaa-”

He looks at it and smiles. "So you can just do anything here?"

Harmonia shrugs. "Kinda! Why do you ask?"

"It's interesting... a lot of practical uses. I suppose you never go hungry, then."

"Nope! There's a lot of perks of being superpowered.”

"It feels weird, knowing the daughter I'm only meeting now could kick the shit out of me if she wanted... it was what I was expecting anyway." Brian gives a soft laugh.

Harmonia blushes in embarrassment. "Yeah....so what your step, old man-" She jokes.

Brian laughs. "The God told me to run, you know, if any trouble came by? So I can't imagine what you have to face. I mean you fought Abaddon firsthand, and I'm sure that's only the tip of the iceberg. All I've got is my ward here and my gun."

"Your ward?" She tilts her head.

Brian fishes around in his pocket and pulls out what appears to be a small plastic box, closed with tape, then glue, then what looks to be wax. Inside was a wisdom tooth. "This thing is what has kept me alive."

Harmonia looks at it curiously. "What does it do?"

"Keeps away dromen, proxies, rakes, basically most of what wants to fuck you up around these parts..." Brian says.

"Really? That's cool- I mean I'm friends with a dromen who’s cool-"

Brian narrows his eyes. "I doubt it..."

"He wasn't a dromen when we met. He's not even sure how he became one...:

"Huh- Interesting... I may have heard stories of something like that before." Brian says.

"Really? Interesting.” Harmonia responds.

Brian nods. "Just rumors and whispers from the people in my group..." He seems to trail off at the mention of them.

"I'm sorry..." She extends a hand for him to take if he wants.

Brian takes it, shaking his head. "No, no it's alright, I'll be fine."

"What happened to them? If you don't mind me asking.."

"The proxies- or Hallowed I guess, got to them.." He admits. "I just got lucky-"

"I see... we try and kill as many as possible but in hordes they can definitely wreak havoc..."

He nods. “We weren't anywhere near that capacity of defense…”

“Yeah, that’s understandable… I'm sorry…”

Brian looks down, shaking his head. "It's alright... nothing we can do about it now. I've done well on my own, at least. Trying to make some of them proud."

Harmonia nods. "Surviving is the best thing you can do for them. Keeping their memory alive and all that..."

"I suppose so. It just... I don't like thinking about how after all we'd done, all the progress we made... for it to just be thrown out."

"It wasn't... you're still alive. That's proof enough it wasn't futile." Harmonia says gently.

"Yeah... I just wish I could've saved some as well, again, it was just dumb luck I survived."

Harmonia puts an arm over his shoulders. "It's not fair, I'm sorry.”
