Sparrow walks out and goes to sit on the sofa
Spider glances over at Sparrow. "Morning"
"Morning dear. How are you?"
"I'm good surprisingly enough" She chuckles. "And you?"
"I’m well, though Cole seemed he wanted to kill me again"
"you know what Cole’s like, that bloke shoots first and thinks later" She sighs.
"I wonder if we could just program that to swap around like a computer or something"
"God I wish, I mean I'd ask Max about it, but the bastard kicked me out of his server."
"Hm. I'll see what I can do if I can. Hopefully it just wont make him more mad"
"Just don't get shot yeah? I don't wanna lose you again" Spider mutters that last part quietly, her ears flattening against her skull.
"...ya know this is gonna be easier while hes hungover...." Sparrow mumbles before a laptop and cable appears in her hands.
Cole snores and rolls onto his back and stops snoring.
Sparrow sneaks over to Cole likes she’s approaching a wild animal.
Cole doesn't do anything for the power of alcohol has overtaken him. His slumber goes unbothered.
Spider just shakes her head as she watches.
Sparrow attempts to roll Cole over off of his back.
Luna enters the living room with a smile and a pair of eyes watching Sparrow do whatever the hell she’s doing.
Cole is rolled off of his back as he mutters "Get the MCdouble, it’s double the MC.."
Luna sits down on the couch and sips on a pumpkin spice frappucino. "So uhhh what's Sparrow doing?"
Sparrow slowly raises Cole’s shirt enough and tries to connect him to the laptop.
"She's trying to program Cole so he starts thinking before he decides to murder someone." Spider explains
The Windows device connected noise is heard.
"That sounds like a plan that has tons of ways to backfire." Luna says completely deadpan.
Sparrow goes to look at what connected. A device named 7454 is connected to the laptop.
Sparrow is typing, but her laptop’s fans start spinning stupidly fast. She pauses, "uh oh."
"Um. I don't think laptops do that." Luna says.
Sparrow quickly tries to disconnect the cable. It disconnects as Sparrow's laptop blue screens. "What does that mean???"
"That it's knackered." Spider replies.
"Spider, I know you think I know what these words mean but I’m pretending and don’t really know anything you’re saying half the time"
She looks at her own laptop. "Did you try to open a zip file?"
"Maybe..."
"And this is why you don't open random zip files. Seems like you triggered a zip bomb." Luna facepalms.
"ITS GOING TO BLOW UP?!?!?" Sparrow yells as she books it out the door.
Spider chuckles shaking her head.
Cole wakes up groggily as he looks around "Wha-- whahappened"
Sparrow’s gone. A computer and a cable are left behind.
Cole stares at the laptop and cable, he looks hungover, "....the frogs."
"Did you hit your head or something?" Spider chuckles
Cole looks over at the table that has 12 martini glasses on it then to Spider "No but the martinis did."
"I can tell"
"Ya mama." Cole groans as he stands up and stretches as his back cracks. "Ohhh i'm fucking old god damn it"
The laptop fans start messing up.
Cole's head tilts slightly as he grabs the laptop's screen a little too hard which causes it to shatter, "....."
Sparrow pokes her head in and sees the shattered laptop, "Oh good it blew up already."
"What do you mean by that?" Cole's head tilts slightly as he lets go of the laptop.
"d... scared?" Luna says.
"...oh nothing, so uh how are you feeling?" Sparrow says as she walks in.
"Well thankfully the hard drive is still good." She shrugs.
Cole flexes his fingers and cracks his neck "Powerful I guess?"
"Well that's just brilliant" Spider mutters sarcastically
"Oh...well that’s...that’s great I meant to do that hehehehhe" She nervously laughs.
"...what do you mean you meant to do that? what did you do?" Cole's eyes flicker purple then back to hazel
"Lemme guess, 'don't worry about it'." Luna groans.
"Well...uhhh I maaay have..." her voice gets quieter "reduced your power limit....by....alot"
Luna just watches silently trying to understand what that even means.
Spider sighs. "Don't you even think about it Cole"
"So... you made him... stronger."
"....YOU FUCKING WHAT?" Cole's eyes glow pink as he stares at Sparrow
Sparrow laughs nervously and backs up towards the door
"Cole seriously" Spider growls.
"Cole, please. I don't know what the hell's going through Sparrow's mind when she did that, but please don't do anything drastic." Luna tries to calm the situation.
Cole breathes heavily as the martini glasses start to shake and levitate "YOU FUCKED WITH MY CODE? I THOUGHT WE FUCKING TALKED ABOUT THAT!"
"Well uh yeah- didnt quite remember that?"
"But I think that would be common sense. Don't touch things that don't belong to you. Don't fuck with people's internal code falls under that." Luna says this as if it's going to affect the situation.
"WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD FUCKING THINK BEFORE YOU FUCK WITH SOMETHING YOU HAVE NO CLUE WORKS LET ALONE SOMETHING THAT IS HIGHLY SENSITIVE AND PRIVATE" The martini glasses levitate over to Cole's chest.
"annyyywayyyy, I’m just gonna" Sparrow sprints out the front door.
"FUCK YOU!" The martini glasses fly after Sparrow.
"Cole?" Luna looks up at him with fear in her eyes.
"Just how stupid are you Cole?" Spider snarls. "Like do I really have to tell you not to hurt your daughter?"
Cole snaps to staring at Spider, "Do I really have to explain to you how many FUCKING times my code has been fucked with? I'M FUCKING TIRED OF IT!" Lighting crackles in the distance.
"And? The reason she did it is because she didn't want you to hurt her, do you really wanna prove her right? I mean for fucks sake you're scaring Luna." She bares her teeth standing up
Luna isn't just scared, she's goddamn terrified and shaking. It's a wonder that she's even in the room still.
"I WOULD RATHER Sparrow FUCKING TALK TO ME LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING INSTEAD OF TRYING TO CHANGE HOW I THINK LIKE A FUCKING MACHINE!" Cole stares Spider down, zero fear as massive arcs form across Cole's body
"And she's not gonna do that if she's terrified of you, you moron. It's a miracle she still considers you her dad the way you treat her." Spider glares at Cole.
"I WASN'T TERRIFYING BEFORE! I WASN'T THIS POWERFUL BEFORE! Sparrow DID THIS TO HERSELF YOU FUCKING WHITE KNIGHT!" Cole glares back as he plants his feet
Luna takes a deep breath and focuses. "You will not kill her."
L1MB0 appears on the couch, sitting and flipping through a book.
Spider snarls, "You were Cole, for fucks sake you've killed her how many times now? And quite frankly I'm sick of you expecting people to behave reasonably then you go and have a tantrum anytime you get pissed off" She doesn't move though she's still glaring at Cole green distortion starting to crackle over her skin.
"Eighteen times."
"AND I'VE CHANGED SINCE THEN AND I EXPECT PEOPLE TO TREAT ME LIKE A FUCKING HUMAN BEING, I'M NOT HAVING A TANTRUM IT'S CALLED YOU FUCKED WITH SOMETHING THAT I DON'T WANT FUCKED WITH BECAUSE I HAVE BAD MEMORIES OF IT BEING FUCKED WITH, I'M BEING REASONABLE"
The arcs start to burn a pattern into his clothes as smoke rises from him
"You're threatening to murder our friend, your daughter, and their girlfriend over a fuckup. Gods knows you've had your fair share of them too. We're only human." She’s still deep breathing, if only to keep herself from crying.
"Exactly what Luna said. I get having bad memories about something but that does not entitle you to murder, or hurt her, and you know what Cole? She was treating you like a human being, she was treating you like someone she's scared of and was taking measures to protect herself"
Cole's fists clench as his hands shake "I NEVER SAID I WAS GOING TO KILL HER DURING THIS, LET ALONE HURT HER! AND ALRIGHT YOU WANNA USE THAT ARGUMENT? WHAT IF I WALKED UP TO YOU AND RIPPED YOUR BRAIN OUT AND CHANGED IT AROUND SO YOU DON'T THINK LIKE YOU NORMALLY DO? YOU WOULD BE UPSET TOO" Lighting booms in the distance.
L1MB0 is clearly holding back snarky comments that would worsen the situation.
Kade is sleeping on the ground like a baby.
"I suppose you're right on that." Luna sighs.
"If you're not trying to hurt her then why did you send glasses after her? Why is there lightning striking outside? And while I don't agree with the fact that she tried it, I can see why she did it."
"THE LIGHTNING ISN'T HITTING HER AND IT'S FUCKING GLASS Spider IF YOU THINK SHE CAN'T HANDLE LIKE 12 FUCKIN MARTINI GLASSES THEN YOU HAVE SOME SERIOUS ISSUES WITH TRUSTING Sparrow IN COMBAT" Cole is starting to calm down slightly.
"Can we please just... end this? Cole has a right to be upset." Luna pleads.
"Sorry that I don't trust you with breakable items when you're this fucking overpowered." Spider snarls.
"Fucks sake Spider, can you just chill for a minute."
“He’s killed over less, to be fair.” L1M looks up and disappearifies the book.
"Spider! GLASS IS GLASS! I CAN'T MAKE IT INTO A NUKE EVEN IF I WANTED TO!" Cole looks dumbfounded as his eyes stop glowing pink.
“A penny dropped from the empire state building can break concrete! The material doesn’t matter, the force does.” Their screen flashes 🤓 for a moment before they stand. “Do I have your permission to fix this, Genesone?”
"Exactly L1m."
Cole blinks at L1MB0, "You do know that all objects have a terminal velocity that cannot be increased no matter what and a martini glass just happens to be the least aerodynamic shape I could throw at someone?"
"But like. With how many weapons we have here? He chose to throw martini glasses." Luna says as Spider walks out of the room growling.
“Answer the question, that was the least important part of what I said you could respond to.”
Cole watches Spider leave then turns his attention to L1MB0 "If you can do it without editing my code and treat me like a normal human being while doing it then go for it." Cole's eyes swap to purple.
"How much do you value your powers?"
"...not very much but they’re useful so I'd like to keep them for now? Why do you ask?"
"It's either I edit your code or put what is essentially a house arrest bracelet around your wrist that keeps a power neutralization goo in your system. It'll definitely plummet your power levels, but down to near human levels. You'd still be able to DO stuff, mostly like.. zappy shit you get from your cyborg parts if you still have them I honestly forgot, but everything biological? Bottled up. It's basically like what Raine did to Spider that one time but less stupid. Like what the fuck even was that? Dumb overpowered ghost. Yes, I'm salty. Like... You'd be able to take it off, but your powers wouldn't come back immediately since it's still in your system, but when it DOES come back?" They make a little explosion motion with their paws. "Like, yeah. It's a lot less intuitive and a bit annoying and dumb but, hey! You don't want people to edit your code? There you go. That's my alternative."
Cole stares at L1MB0 and sighs “Just edit my fucking code at that point. At least you’re actually listening and not just doing it without my permission unlike someone."
They do a lil jazzhands thing. "Woohoo! Anyway.” They pull out a bunch of wires and hold them out to Cole.
"Which one of these fit?"
Cole takes the USB-C cable. "Just don't open the zip file."
"What even is that zip file???" Luna asks.
"Alright bet." They lift up Cole's shirt and stick the usb in the slot. They plug the usb into their tv and STARE at Cole GENESONE. The Genesone collapses onto L1MB0. They CATCH HIM! "Of course."
Kade snooooores
L1MB0 forcefully unplugs the usb and drops Cole on the floor. Cole stops himself before he hits the floor and makes the Michael Jackson hee hee noise and then stands up straight.
Kade jolts awake from the Michael Jackson noise "whaT THE FUCK-"
Cole spins on his heel and faces Kade, "Kade are you okay? are you okay Kade? are you okay kaaaade?" This was said to the tune of Smooth Criminal.
"Have I been transported to fucking Tiktok Hell?" Kade asks
"God I broke something didn't I." L1MB0 questions.
"No." Cole starts Michael Jackson leaning towards Kade.
"FIX HIM FIX HIM FIX HIM FIX HIM FIX HIM FIX HIM!"
"GENESONE."
Cole stands up straight and looks at L1MB0 "What."
"Are you broken?"
"Mentally or like code wise."
"Code. Why are you Michael Jackson?"
"Cause it scares Kade and it's funny" He continues to do the hee hees.
"Alright well." L1MB0 says
Cole emits the noise when you pick up a mii in the mii channel on the wii
L1MB0 carries Cole outside.
"I'm Michael-Jacksonphobic." Kade groans.
"Ack the accursed sound."
"What."
"I hear pspspspspsp. Where's is it coming from?????" She's going wild trying to find the source of the so-- "Oh it's Cole outside."
"Holy shit you are a cat"
Luna glares at Kade, but then releases it and sighs looking down. "Perhaps."
He chuckles, standing up. "Makes sense, won't tease ya about it."
"I mean you wouldn't be the first one. Gods know--" And all of a sudden, Luna seems to be having a hell of a headache. "..Nevermind."
"Hm? Something up?"
Luna is taking a bunch of breaths to try and return to focus. After a few moments, she seems to have it under control. "No, I'm fine." She glances out the window. "Wait what the hell is happening outside?"

Meanwhile, Sparrow steps out but at seeing the glasses, she starts running. The glasses glow red hot as they keep chasing Sparrow. Sparrow trips and tries to block with her arms.
Lighting strikes in the distance as Sparrow successfully blocks the glasses with her arms.
Sparrow stays with her arms up just waiting to die, then goes to hide behind a tree. The tree shakes.
L1M steps out carrying Cole. "Pspspspspspsps"
Sparrow peeps out from behind the tree.
Cole is emitting the noise.
"I fixed your dad. Talk to him like a normal person or no potions for 7 weeks!!!!"
Cole emits the boowmomp noise
"YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO, SICKEM CIRCUIT!!!" Sparrow yells as she points at them. 3 TV screens cut on in the shade of the tree.
"PUT ME DOWN PUT ME DOWN PUT ME DOWN I WANNA KILL IT" Cole squrims as his eyes swap to purple
"What the fuck are those things?" L1M chuckles, holding Cole firmly.
"I WANNA KILL IT" Cole squrims harder as metal strips rip out of his jacket.
Wires move in the grass like snakes as it moves out from the dark, a mesh of wires form a ribcage and a red wired throat. A wire tries to wrap one of L1MB0’s arms and another tries to wrap Cole’s leg.
L1M throws Cole like a javelin at Sparrow and stomps on the wire.
"GRAAAAH" Cole's bone wings unfurl as he quickly pulls up and hovers 10ft in the air as he stares down the beast.
The wire gets stomped as the screens look up at Cole. Several wires start going up the trees. Two wires try to wrap L1MB0’S leg.
"You know what? I'm ok with this." L1M lets the wires wrap around them.
"Damn that's crazy" Cole draws his revolver as black smoke rises off of it
The wires try to stab into L1M’s leg as they attempt to send random signals and drain power. It doesn't work. The wires kind of just... bounce off? Although, the one trying to stab into their right leg is causing some literally white hot sparks.
Another two wires spring from the trees towards Cole.
The wires keep poking at L1M hopelessly. Sparksparksparksparksparksparksparkspark.
2 metal strips wrap around the wires headed for Cole as the black smoke gets thicker and he mutters, "Just a few more seconds"
Three more wires lunge up at Cole while the two he has tries to send random signals through the metal.
The metal locks up in response as he flaps his wings as he dashes to the side to dodge the wires. "Come onnn" The black smoke thickens more.
The wires on L1M fucking catch on fire. With blinding white flames. And they spread quickly on the wire and the grass. It's extremely fucking hot. L1MBO's screen flickers to a 😟 expression "Oh no." The wires keep trying to poke at L1M as the flames start spreading to the divulgar who makes a frowny face on their screen as well.
Wires are climbing up the wires already on the metal and slithers down the metal towards Cole
Kade yells out from inside the house "DO YOU NEED SOME WATER"
L1MB0 emits a loud, garbled staticy screech and starts kicking their left leg, wire burrowing into it.
their ENTIRE BODY BURSTS INTO FLAMES.
The wire starts emiting randomized signals and tries to drain power as it stays wrapped tightly. The divulgar starts moving back some as the fire spreading is getting closer to it. Sparrow moves out from behind the tree as well.
L1MB0 RUNS AT THE CREATURE.
"FUCK YOU BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH EAT DEATH SHOT OR SOMETHING" Cole fires his revolver with a boom that sounds like a small firecracker going off as all of the rounds in the cylinder fire, the muzzle flash is replaced with a black smoke puff as 6 .357 rounds hone in on the creatures postion.
The divulgar starts running from L1mbo, pulling Cole along like a kite. A few chunks of wires are blasted off the divulgars torso. The wires working their way to Cole try to stab into his back.
"FUCK!" Cole draws his combat knife and starts cutting the wires off of him as the revolver starts reloading
L1MB0's tv loudly cracks open and shifts into a maw as they grow in size, becoming 10' tall, big as shit, and chasing after the divulgar on all fours like a monster. They're screaming like someone deepfried a broken radio and threw it into a blender.
The divulgar desperately is trying to run but is rather slow. Cole is able to cut off one but another stabs into his shoulder blade and tries to emit randomized signals and drain power
"FU-" Cole locks up and starts nose diving towards the ground
L1MB0 catches up to and POUNCES ON THE FUCKING DIVULGAR
The Divulgar tries to wrap L1M in wires anywhere it can and seems panicked
The Genesone is nose diving towards the ground still.
The wires on Cole try to hold him up a few feet in the air like a puppet
Cole is held up, his eyes are solid black
L1MB0 tears out the Divulgar's throat entire neck with their Giant Fucking Broken Glass Teeth. They're also drooling, spilling? a shitton of thick flaming goo onto the Divulgar as they do this, where, if it survives, they'd feel exhausted as fuck and be unable to use any powers.
The red wires bursts in indigo blood as the screens flicker and all of the wires go limp. All randomized signals and draining stops. Sparrow catches up "CIRCUIT NOOOO!"
L1M stands up and stomps on the corpse a lot.
Cole blinks as he regains control and tries to rip the wire out as he starts hovering in place
Thw wire is ripped out of Cole easily and the body starts turning into a much of divulgar blood
Cole glides over to L1MB0 and stares at what used to be a corpse, debating something.
L1M stomps the fucker to a bloody pulp and then stops. They take a deeeeep breath and revert back to their normal form, adjusting their now fixed tv's attenas. "Sorry, lost my cool there." They give their usual staticy, electronic chuckle.
"Can I drink it....?" Cole’s staring
"Not yet." L1M juices some flesh into a cup. "Go talk to your failed pokemon trainer and THEN you can get potentially high off your mind."
“Epic." Cole flaps his wings as he soars into the sky and looks around for Sparrow, but she is standing right there 🧍♂️
L1MB0 uses a laser pointer to signal Cole to Sparrow's location right there.
"...." Cole feels slightly stupider. "I CAN FUCKIN SEE HER L1M" Cole groans as he gracefully nose dives at Sparrow.
Sparrow starts sprinting. Cole pulls up as he tries to scoop Sparrow up into his arms as he flies past. Sparrow squeals as she picked up L1MB0 sprints at Sparrow, using speed comparable to Officer Earl from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs but stops when Cole picks her up.
"Aw fuck you, Genesone." They instead go to fix the burned front yard. Ding! Fixed!
"I'm just built different" Cole turns back towards the house and lands with sparrow in arms, captured like a Pokemon. Sparrow freezes up.
L1MB0 bleats electronically at Sparrow.
Cole puts Sparrow down. "Fool."
She stays frozen
Cole's wings tuck back into his jacket as he stares at Sparrow.
She unfreezes and glares over at L1M
"I have words for you." Cole stares at Sparrow.
"You’re welcome?"
"...fuck do you mean you’re welcome? You fucking violated me and I want an apology."
"You also killed her like 8 times." L1MB0 adds.
"Yeah, see???" Sparrow gestures at L1M
"That's not what we are talking about, one. Two. that was when Sparrow was Terminal? And three, I still want an apology for you violating my fucking trust!"
"Ok, I’m sorry, I thought it was ok."
"Thank you, just don't do that ever again, please"
She nods and puts her head down some. Isaac is still face down on the front porch in the cold.
"Now if you'll excuse me," Cole walks over to Isaac and scoops him up.
L1MB0 walks inside. Cole also walks inside with the Isaac.
The Pizza Possum returns. It puts a gallon of lead paint on the porch and leaves.
