Asphodel sits on the porch, waiting. Melody comes out and sits next to her. Then Smores. Spider appears, she's wearing a pair of re-enforced fingerless gloves and a new jacket.
"Alright," Asphodel stands up, "Time to go," she helps Melody up and starts walkin down the street. They eventually make it out to the city. Place seems relatively okay aside from a few buildings that have some broken windows or overall destruction.
Melody looks around curiously. "Where are we goin?"
"We're going on a lil adventure and Im gonna show you three my place," she sighs, "when we get there."
"Oo! Sounds fun"
"You don't sound that keen," Spider glances over at Asphodel.
"I'm just kind of tired of this whole," she gestures vaguely, "20+ people living in one house thing. It seems to cause a lot of problems. As well as the fact that you guys are constantly targetted... yeah, that's not for me."
"Yeah I get that, and I can guess where this is going"
"Yeah."
"Well, that's gonna be fun when you tell her," Spider sighs and continues walking.
"Tell who?" Melody asks. Neither of them respond. They turn to enter the forest.
They eventually come across a door, matte bronze in color. Asphodel turns to look at the others.
"So uh. Hey. I'm not gonna be living at the house anymore."
Melody pauses. "Oh. I see"
"Yeahh.. it's just. too stressful for me. Everything happening all the time isn't exactly the life I wanna live."
Melody nods "That makes sense,,"
Spider just shrugs tiredly.
"You can come with me if you want or you can visit any time,, There's a symbol that can work on most doors and if you know where you want it to take you it'll take you there." She takes a piece of paper from her pocket and hands it to Melody. It has a symbol on it. Melody nods, just kinda still, not much emotion on her face. Asphodel kneels down to hug Melody, silently starting to cry a little. Melody hugs back, also tearing up.
"Keep that flannel safe for me, k? It'll protect you like I did," Asphodel whispers, still hugging her
Melody nods, shaking. "I will"
Asphodel takes off her sunglasses and puts them on Melody, petting her before releasing from the hug and standing up. Her eyes are a bright, swirling orange. She looks to Spider.
"Keep these two safe, alright?"
Spider nods but doesn't say anything.
Asphodel opens the door and looks back to them, "I love you guys. More than you could ever imagine."
The door opens to the lobby of Bael's hotel. She steps through, but leaves the door open.
"I love you too." Melody says.
The Door disappears in a puff of black smoke. Smores is just. standing still. unsure of how to react.
Spider sighs, "Here Mel pass us that note for a sec?" She does. Spider pulls out her phone taking a picture of the symbol before handing it back, "Ta"
Melody puts it back in her pocket and starts walking home. Smores follows Melody, unsure of what to say, if anything at all.

Mary Asphodel walks down the left hall, into one of the empty bars and. just. starts sobbing. The bartender gives her a few drinks on the house. No one else is in the bar, just them. They don't say a word to each other. Just sobs from Mary and understanding from the bartender.
