Spider appears in a glass cage. Wisteria stands outside of the cage, holding a clipboard and sitting on a chair.

"Welcome back!

"I can't tell you how thrilled I am to be here," Spider's voice is dripping with sarcasm.

She grins, "And I can't tell you how excited I am to have you! So what were you hiding?"

"I wasn't hiding anything," Spider's still keeping her arms behind her back.

Wisteria stand up and attempts to walk to the back of the glass, "Your arms."

Spider turns around to face her, "My dear, I don't know what you're talking about."

Wisteria stifles a laugh, "Petnames, hm? I didn't think we were there at our relationship. I'll get it out of you, and you know this! Why don't you make it easier for the both of us."

"Mhm, sure you will"

“I got it out of you last time, didnt I?”

"And here I was hoping you'd forgot about that"

Wisteria taps her clipboard proudly, “I never forget•

"And I thought you were, whatever you are, not an elephant," Spider chuckles.

She grins, “Whatever I am? I have a field day with what I am, thank you very much.”

"And what exactly is that hm?"

“Show me your arms and maybe I'll tell you!”

"And how do I know I can trust you?"

Wisteria឵ shrugs, "Thats the fun part!"

"I wouldn't call it fun," Spider grumbles as she brings her arms out from behind her back, the skin is now discoloured black and she looks anywhere but at her arms. Wisteria appears in the cell, observing her arms,

"Oh my...!! This is new, what is this?"

"Would you believe me if I said I didn't know?" Spider takes a small step away from Wisteria.

Wisteria឵ takes the step forward to match, "Well, you hid it from me, so you know something!"

"Because I don't wanna be dissected or whatever it is that you'll try to pull," Spider growls, the temperature in the cage rises slightly.

Wisteria senses the change and looks around, “That's new! That you too? And if its dissection worthy then you HAVE to tell me!”

"Let's just say it's an illness and leave it at that."

“Well then I'm just a creature!! You have to give more details than that!”

"Have you heard of something called the Impurity?" Spider sighs.

Wisteria tilts her head, "I don't believe I have!"

"Your turn, then"

Wisteria smiles and walks a lap around Spider, "Well, I'm a dream. In dutch, at least."

"Interesting"

"Well, it's your turn again!" Wisteria smiles, "Tell me more about this impurity."

"It's nasty, if you get it and you're organic then you're fucked," Spider chuckles.

"Unfortunate, then. I'm sure I can find something to cure it, though. How would I go about collecting a sample?"

Spider shrugs.

"Interesting... what are the symptoms.. how do you feel?"

"How do I feel? Annoyed and like I want to hurt you," Spider chuckles, "As for symptoms, do you mean me specifically or in general?"

Wisteria covers her mouth to laugh politely, "Both, of course!"

"For me, coughing, whatevers going on with my blood and this discolouration so far.. though it wasn't supposed to be this bad," She sighs, rolling her eyes and glancing at her arm before quickly looking away, "In general I don't have a list but this stuff attacks your tissues, organs etcetera, etcetera, so you can imagine"

Wisteria takes some quick notes, before looking back up. "It affects your blood?"

"Maybe"

"May I see?"

"Just don't touch it, and I'll need a knife"

Wisteria nods and an ordinary pocket knife appears in Spider's hand, and a vial appearing in her own.

"Yeah no, you ain't collecting this"

Wisteria឵ frowns, "I'll collect what I see fit in my lab."

"You wanna get infected? Cause that's how you go about it"

Wisteria scoffs, "I'm a professional, I know how to deal with such things."

Spider laughs, though it quickly turns into a coughing fit.

"There's the coughing, then?"

"How'd you figure that out?" Spider snarks, wiping her mouth.

Wisteria sighs, "Well, cmon go ahead."

Spider adjusts her grip on the knife and uses it to make a small incision on her arm. Blood wells up, while Wisteria can tell it's there, it also blends in with the discolouration, and the wound quickly heals up.

Gloves appear on her hands as Wisteria moves to try and catch some of it, "Thereeee it is."

Spider moves away from Wisteria quickly, covering the puncture wound with her hand, "I told you, you ain't touching this"

Wisteria sighs as she watches the blood drip against the floor, I don't understand why."

It rapidly expands on the floor, becoming solid at certain parts.

"That's why"

Wisteria watches intently. "I'll collect it later... Marigold get a good image of this on the cams!" She calls out to nowhere in particular. "Well then, it's your turn to ask questions!"

"Sure just gimme a minute," Spider groans, bringing a hand up to rub her forehead.

Wisteria឵ tilts her head, "Of course, what's the matter, then?"

"Stress," she mutters as she brings her hand down.

"Is this session the cause?"

"Kinda? Not much though, it's a multitude of things"

Wisteria឵ taps her chin curiously, "None of my business then, hm."

"And here I thought you were a scientist not a therapist"

Wisteria឵ snickers, "Oh don't mistake my intentions, I have no interest in your mental state in any other way than a scientific interest."

"Then yeah, it's definitely none of your business," The temperature rises again, it now feels like one of those ridiculously hot summer days in there.

Wisteria looks around again, amused, "Sooo, what's this new temperature control?"

"You're not gonna quit pestering me till I show you are you?" Spider sighs.

Wisteria grins, "Why of course not! Why would I?"

Spider just rolls her eyes and holds her hand out slightly, palm up. A large flame ignites in the palm of her hand and it spreads to cover her fingers, "Happy?"

Wisteria pulls out a thermometer and sticks it in the flame, inspecting her hand, "Interesting... temperature control to extreme and targeted level, making it hot enough in one spot to light the oxygen in the air, I assume."

"Sounds plausible yeah."

Wisteria pulls the thermometer away and it disappears. "Well, your questions?"

"If you're a Dromen then what's Marigold?"

Wisteria gives a smile, more genuine than the slightly pitying or mocking grins from before, "I have no clue! I've done my research extensively, but she's truly one of a kind, a completely multiversal anomaly."

"And how did you meet her? Hell, how do you understand her?"

Wisteria stifles a laugh, "Oh... how we met, it was how I meet any number of my subjects, it was quite peculiar, with how it spoke. It had some history behind it, almost all but erased. I found the remnants, and through some certain, trade secret, means, it's become one of my closest confidants and lab assistant."

"Trade secret?" Spider raises an eyebrow.

Wisteria puts a finger to her lips, "I have many things I choose not to tell a soul." Spider begins to hear a slight lullaby in the background, not coming from any particular area. Her head twitches slightly as she looks around for the source of the noise. It seems to just stay there, not getting louder, or quieter. "Anything else?"

"That's familiar," she mutters before turning to Wisteria, "Not right now, no"

Wisteria឵ tilts her head, "Alright, what's familar?" Spider begins to feel the slightest bit drowsy.

"The music," Spider shakes her head slightly.

Wisteria furrows her brow, "I don't know what you mean." The drowsiness begins to grow.

"Sure you don't," she snarks, shaking her head again, trying to clear the drowsiness.

Wisteria takes a lap around her, "I don't. What about the music?"

"It's the same one you used before, that put me to sleep, so don't play dumb," Spider growls, bringing a hand up to her head.

The music gets slightly louder, its effects doubling, "The time when you passed out? That certainly was curious."

"Fuck off," Spider growls again, her eyes half closed now, as she moves to sit down against the wall.

Wisteria's outside of the box again, observing Spider closely, "Tired again, then?" The flame flickers a few times and then dies, the temperature in the cage dropping back to normal as Spider passes out. She would be asleep here, but as soon as she woke up she would return to her room in her house.
