All of Nammu’s Marked joined Gem and I in seeing Orobas to seek help in defeating the gauntlet. After solving the final fragment, O, we were greeted by an honestly kind soul who wanted nothing more than a fair fight for all competitors. For Orobas, Byleth isn’t an enemy but rather a rival. He even commented on the “Secret love affair” Byleth and Ardat were having.
“It’s funny, the magic they used to conceal their love, their pact. It has been repurposed onto cheap looking websites. Pop culture type magick repositories. Look at this…” And it hit us, all of the ritualistic things we’ve been shown through the premonitions were on a cheap looking website.
And before we left Orobas, he gave us some tips for the Summoning Ritual.
“The ritual, by the way. The summoning ritual. They try to make it sound so much more fancy than it is. It’s all pomp and nonsense to inflate egos. Just wear the ring and point your hazel hilted sword. Don’t even bother pointing it southwest or whatever it says. Point it right at him. That should get his attention. The power is in the words, and in the bonds and charms.. Have those on you and you will be good to go. Oh and there’s still the matter of the riddle.”
“Riddle?” Luna asks. “You wouldn’t happen to know what he’ll ask right?”
“Unfortunately, I cannot help there, as that would be cheating. Well off you go.” Orobas says. And we do. We move onto another room. This time, we meet with Agares to learn the words and to prepare our final confrontation.
