Theres 2 presents under the tree. Ari stands in the living room like a sopping cat.
"Why are you soggy." Kade asks then checks the presents to see if there's any name. There is no name, they both have something moving in them.
"I showered." Ari replies.
Luna walks in looking cheerful, "hey ny'all!"
Isaac’s snoring is still very loud which causes Luna’s ears to instantly flatten in annoyance.
Ari snickers, "Hey Lune."
“Oh hey.” Luna responds looking annoyed.
Kade starts to open a box!
Theres the same kind of bird from last time, a partridge.
"I guess Kade got himself a meal for Christmas." Luna chuckles.
Ari pauses, "Uhhh should I stay away from calling you that?"
"Oh no no Ari. It's Isaac's snoring that's gotten me upset, not being called Lune."
"Ohhhhhhhhhhh gotchu..." Ari scratches his neck sheepishly.
Isaac snorts ashe wakes up "wh?"
He tries to EAT the bird. The bird is eaten, the other box still has something that moves. He goes onto opening the other box as well. There are two doves inside of it with somewhat colorful feathers.
Ivy yawns as she comes in. "What's good y'all."
Kade looks Ivy directly in the eyes as he slowly eats one of the doves. Ivy doesn't seem that phased cuz of it. She walks up to Kade and steals one of the doves for herself as she runs to the kitchen with it.
Isaac watches a bit confused.
"Why are we getting birds under the tree???" Ari asks
"My bird was stolen..." Kade sighs.
"Uhhh the 12 days of Christmas?" Luna reasons.
"I hate that song" isaac grumbles
"We got a partridge day 1, and now two turtle doves."
Kade’s stomach starts to feel off. "I think I should learn to stop eating things I shouldn't." The object disagrees.
“I call the rings.” Ari chuckles.
For an hour or so kade will be processing divulgar blood, meaning halucinations in all 5 senses.
Ivy is covered in feathers and green blood. "Hey again." She was in the kitchen cooking the dove and eating it.
"...did that blood come from the bird?" Luna looks shaken up.
"Yup."
Kade is fucking frozen.
Isaac’s eyes widen some.
"Conduit divulgars." Luna nods and braces for the incoming high.
“Awhhhh shit get ready for the most wild high in your life.” Ari jokes,
Ivy is standing normally before she feels as if she just got punched in the face. She falls to the ground. Isaac sighs. "Oh what the fuuu... uh..."
"What happens if I hypnotize someone on a divulgar high?" Ari wonders out loud.
"This is gonna suck." Luna sighs and goes to sit on the couch.
Ivy stares at the wall. She seems scared. "Did... did anyone hear that?-"
"Probably nothing, not like they can see it"
"Indeed." Luna agrees
"Ivy your hallucinating, hon."
Kade starts crawling on all fours towards the door.
Isaac chuckles some
Ivy misinterprets Luna's agreement as if shes agreeing with her. She looks even more scared. She doesn't pay attention to Ari. She's staring at the wall with almost all the intent to either run or kill. "...mom?"
"Hooooo boy..."
Isaac instantly ducks out of the room "yup I’m out."
"So yeah, Divulgar blood highs suck. It's arguably worse than previous timeline Hadal blood." she grimaces.
"No, no, this can't be happening, this is just- no, no, no, no..." Everything is just a hallucination but it's EXTREMELY real to Ivy. She's curled up on the floor sobbing.
Kade is thunking against the door.
"Yeah I'm gonna go.." Luna walks to the kitchen then out to the back patio.
Ari plops himself down next to Ivy and tries to offer comfort by setting a hand on her shoulder, "Am I going to be on babysitting duty?"
She fucking shrieks when Ari puts his hand on her. She seems even more panicked, her eyes are going CRAZY...
Lock walks out cuz shes still alive and sits near a wall
Ari pulls its hand away, "No touching then... alright..."
Lock watches curiously.
Ivy is still looking at the door. She's never really been this scared.
Kade BREAKS THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR WITH HIS HEAD! And crawls through it on all fours.
"KADE NO-"
IVY SCREAMS AS THE DOOR IS BROKEN BEFORE RUNNING AWAY TO THE KITCHEN
"SHIT-" Ari follows Ivy to the kitchen. Ivy runs through the kitchen and crashes through the back door. Luna sighs. Ari walks outside. Ivy looks as if she's having a seizure or something on the floor of the patio.
"Fuck- uh- I-" Ari does not know what to do.
"Yeah, I'm not sure either Ari, sorry. I guess we just gotta babysit them." she shrugs.
Ivy looks like a GMod ragdoll stuck in a door. The dance has atracted the local wildlife to the area. Ivy stops acting like a ragdoll and starts to attack the local wildlife.
Luna is focused more on her phone than the slaughter of many animals
"I’m making her wash off all that squirrel blood after she’s done." Ari says.
After killing the average number of animals needed to make a good fur coat, Ivy look straight to Luna. Oh no.
"...Ivy, I guarantee you. My fur is not for sale." Luna stares.
All she sees is another animal. She summons her scythe for it.
"...great. A miniboss." Luna summons her sword.
Ivy lunges at Luna. Ari stands in defense of Luna and instinctively pulls out her sidearm, "SHIT DON’T HURT EACHOTHER THAT BAD-"
"I DON’T EVEN WANT TO HURT HER??" Luna quickly teleports out of the way of the lunge
"WELL JUST- INCAPACITATE HER MAYBE?? CAN I HYPNOTIZE HER??!?!" ARI is PANICKING.
"PLEASE!"
Ivy falls to the ground before regaining her posture. She turns into a tv head. Oh naur.
Lock walks out at hearing commotion to watch
Ari's eyes pulse to life as he tries to make eyecontact with Ivy. "Shit shit shit shit..."
Ivy stares at Ari. Her screen is just flickering random shit, not even trying to hypnotize it.
"You guys need any help?" Lock asks.
"Cmon... Cmon... Just- look here... You're going to be okay... just look."
"Uhhhh not sure what you can do Lock. Ivy ingested conduit divulgar blood and is on a rampage."
"Uhhhh drink vinegar?" Lock suggests. "It should take the effects away"
Ivy is entranced but it's hard to tell. Her screen is still going wild.
"Uh..." Ari tries to take a dew steps closer to Ivy, "Just- keep looking..."
Luna puts her guard down and returns to the patio. Ivy is still staring at Ari. Her screen starts to flicker more as he gets closer.
"Really? I didn't know vinegar was so useful." Luna snaps her fingers and the bottle of vinegar from the kitchen pantry appears in her paws. "Ari, can you try to get Ivy to drink this?"
Ari sticks her hand out to grab it. "Ivy... if you can hear me... i'm going to need your normal head..."
Lock watches nervously. Ivy turns her head back to normal.
“Open your mouth now… I’m going to need you to take a sip of this… okay?”
Ivy opens her mouth.
Luna watches.
Ari takes the bottle of vinegar and pours a little bit into her mouth.
She drinks it. Drinks girlie.
After a bit the effects all fade. Lock makes a slightly disgusted face at seeing the vinegar.
Ivy blinks a bit before collapsing to the ground. She's panting a lot. "Never smoking that shit again... Fuck."
"Ivy? Are you back?"
"Yeah, yeah, uh... what happened-"
"You ate a divulgar and it gave you really bad hallucinations. You tried to attack me in your stupor. But Lock offered advice to beat the blood with vinegar." Luna explains before turning to Lock, "thank you Lock. Saved our butts today."
Lock nods nervously
"Vinegar...? Ugh."
"Yeah, not exactly the best tasting thing." she shudders. "Anyway, lemme go fix Kade real quick. Ari did you happen to see where he went?"
"I'm going to bed, fuck this-" Ivy heads back in and straight to the guest bedroom. When she arrives, she floomps right onto Oleander’s bed.
"Sleep well Ivy." Luna slumps down into her chair seemingly a little out of it. "What a fucking mess. Did Sparrow send us divulgars wrapped up then?"
"I think I saw Kade smash through the front door"
Luna nods but stays down. "I'm sure he'll be fine. Effects of this stuff doesn't generally last long, like an hour or so."
Lock heads back inside. Luna snaps the vinegar back into the pantry before snapping a blanket and taking a short nap. Cool air plus a warm blanket is an optimal sleeping environment. While Luna is sleeping, Lock walks in and searches for the vinegar. When she finds it she pours it down the sink and throws the container away. She’s sure to put the container under other things in the trash and immediately washes her hands. She heads back to the living room.
