Claire stumbles in through the front door of Raine's old home, closing it behind her. She's here because she needs to reflect. Harmonia wants to flirt with some goddess lady because 'all other demons do it'. Claire looks around at the trashed living room, fleshy wires covering some of the walls and parts of the floor. The couch is toppled over, as is the coffee table. The tv is on the floor and all the paintings are smashed. There's some scribbled drawings of a cat looking thing on the floor.

Claire makes her way to the staircase, heading up to the second floor. She finds herself in a hallway with several doors. The wires are packed closely around one of the open doors, and she heads to that one.

The room is dark, only illuminated by some screens. She tries turning on the lightswitch, which works, although the switch is covered in fleshy wires. The room barely illuminates, as the ceiling light is also covered in these wires. But Claire can see enough. There's a lot of computers, attached to large masses of flesh (some of which are mutilated and bleeding), attached to monitors. The wires are coming out of incubators which seem to have petri dishes in them. There's also a large container.

There's ten monitors in total. One that displays the text R053 Systems with a menu, one that displays a map of what looks to be space, and the others all have their own individual menus that look similar to each other.

Claire begins to walk towards the machinery.

"What are you doing?" a voice asks from behind Claire. She turns around to see Roxy standing there, leaning against the doorframe.

"I was just thinking."

"About?"

"Things." Claire looks to the floor. There's a couple of the scribbled cat drawings.

"I think I know who drew those," Roxy says, matching her gaze.

"I don't like thinking about him."

"Why?"

"I don't like the feeling that I took away someone's body. Someone's life." Claire sighs. "You were lucky."

"Was I?"

"I think so."

"...So, you gonna tell me what's been up lately?" Roxy sighs, playing with her necklace.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Claire says, watching Roxy's piece of the Love Key intently.

"With Cata being back? You know I know what they did to you. Project RIG isn't as secret as they want it to be."

"I don't intend on interacting with them."

"Are you scared?"

"What?"

"You're a target on The Kiss's back. You and Melody, but you.. you mostly."

"..."

"You've been thinkin' about that, haven't you?"

"I'd rather not."

"Had a feeeelin'. How's She doing, by the way?"

"I can't tell, that's not how it works."

"Yeah, I just thought She'd maybe talk to you sometimes."

"Why would She want to talk to me? I'm not that special."

"Without you She wouldn't exist, so. You kinda are," Roxy laughs, "As Kate would say, technology created god."

"...I haven't talked to Rose in a while."

"Mmmm they talk to me sometimes, we used to be good friends but since they got hooked up to the Church's version of..." Roxy gestures around at the flesh machinery, "this, we kinda fell off."

"Ah. Understandable, I guess," Claire sighs, "Why are you here?"

"I dunno, wanted to see if there's any ghosts hauntin' this house."

"There probably is. Again, I don't like thinking about him."

"Understandable, really. I mean, he doesn't exactly seem bothered by it.. and it wasn't your fault, it was Lucille's. You can't blame yourself." Roxy says, walking slightly closer to Claire.

"Still,, this isn't my body. It makes me feel really weird being in it. It's like I don't belong, and whenever I have to look myself in the mirror I can't shake the feeling that this just... isn't me? If that makes sense at all," Claire sighs, looking down, "I feel trapped. I want to fix it, make it right, but I don't know if that will ever be possible."

Roxy puts a hand on Claire's shoulder. "I... think I understand what you're going through, though what I went through isn't exactly comparable with your situation. Just know that I'm here for you, okay?"
