"Im boreeeeeeeddd," Chloe whines, wings out behind her.
"Well, you're in luck," Eerine says, organizing some papers. "We've got something to do today"
Chloe sits up quickly, making herself dizzy. "Ough... what is it??"
"Do you know what an interview is?" Eerine stands up, making her way to Chloe
Chloe gets off the floor. "Yeah! Like uhhh when someone asks you questions?"
"Yup, we're gonna be doing one of those today."
"Are they asking me questions?" Chloe asks excitedly
"Mhm!" Eerine nods.
Chloe grins and disappears for a second, returning in a blue suit clearly put on by a child. the buttons are all wrong and the tie is. its tied like how you would tie shoelaces. someone help her
Eerine chuckles, patting Chloe on the head.
"You ready to go?"
She nods!! "Mhm!" Her wings flap happily at the pat. Eerine takes Chloe's hand and walks out to the testing block.

As they walk, a fairly muscular man with curly black hair and broken purple horns passes by them. His skin has many scars on it, and he appears to be wearing armor. He and Eerine avoid eye contact.
Chloe looks at his horns with interest. "Who's that?"
"..I don't really remember anymore."
They make it to the room they're assigned to and Eerine brings Chloe inside, standing by the door as she instructs Chloe to sit.
The room is white, sterile, padded on the walls and floor. There's a window, behind which a blue horned varian is sitting at a table with papers and a microphone. There's a table and chair in their side of the room as well, fitted for Chloe to sit.
Chloe sits down, legs dangling a bit as she looks around. "Hi!"
"Hello, Chloe. So, let's start off with the basics. You're an Empyrean Dreamwalker, yes?"
"I'm an angel!" She says simply, like a correction
The varian notes it down. "Do you know of any other angels?"
Chloe nods. "Of course I do, silly!"
"Can you tell me their names?"
"Well there's Sidriel, Michael, Raphael, Zachriel, Wormwood, and Ramiel! Theres a few more but I don't remember their names..." She twiddles her thumbs
"What can you tell us about them?"
"Sure!! I don't really know Michael, they're never around. Raphaels really nice!! He teaches me stuff about being an angel and Heaven and Hell and Earth!! Zachriels really funny!! She brings me a lot of gifts and is really sweet and fun and plays with me!! People talk about Ramiel but i dont really see him... and Wormwoods just a silly little guy!! And then Sidriel... she's um..." Chloes demeanor grows somber, ear wings lowering and tears pricking at her eyes. "S-she's like my momma... I miss her..."
"Where is Sidriel, Chloe?"
"I... I dont know... but shes acting weird and looks weird a-and its all wrong." She says, a few tears escaping and running down her cheeks.
"What do you mean?"
"H-her domain... I was just... hanging out and then the walls cracking and Impurity came out.. and the plants died and regrew black and she came back but she was different-" She chokes out a sob, clearly distressed at the memory. "S-she was dripping Impurity- and when she looked at me it... it wasnt her... she kicked me out... I haven't seen her since..." Chloe says, bringing her knees up to her chest and sniffling.
"Do you know what the Serpen Operated Nemuru Dromen Artificial Remote Network is? Or, SONDAR Net?"
She shakes her head no. "No..."
"Alright. What can you tell us about Zachriel?"
"Shes really nice and cool and has a really pretty domain..." Chloe says, wiping her eyes
"Can you tell us more?"
"Like what?"
"What does she look like? What is her domain like? Her relationship with the other.. angels?"
"Oh! Well she has short blonde hair with white flowers in it and usually wears sunglasses and flowly clothes that are like pink and purple? She has light skin and 3 wings, big ones on her back and two on her head and theyre like blue colored. Um... her domains like a town but with pretty purple clouds everywhere? And it snows sometimes and everyones pretty happy. She doesn't seem to really talk to Michael but loves Sidriel in like. " She makes her hands kiss. "way. Umm.... shes friends with Ramiel i think and likes hanging out with me and Wormwood and is friends with Raphael!!"
"What can you tell us about Wormwood?"
"Wormwood is." She pauses. "I dont know the words to describe it but like like." she woofs. "That."
"Hm. Okay. How about Raphael?"
"Hes cool!! His face is like.. always changing but he has like deer antlers and stuff and pale skin. His domain is mostly forest with libraries and museums where he shows me cool stuff!! Hes just kinda chill, friends with everyone"
"Okay. What can you tell us about Ramiel?"
She shrugs. "Only Zachriel really knows him"
"Alright." Jot jot jot "Were you always an angel? If not, how did you become one?"
She shakes her head. "A nice man named Daniel lead me to the lake and i sunk and then i was an angel!"
"Do you remember how you died?"
Chloe shrugs. "Depends on the veil"
"...I see." Jot jot jot "What's the clearest memory?"
"Of being alive or dying?"
"Both."
"Dying I remember... a lot of screaming and turning and pain... and being alive I remember someone singing to me... I think they were my grandma?" Chloe shrugs, twiddling her thumbs a bit more.
Jot jot jot. "Do you remember how you died in that memory?"
"Which one?"
"The screaming, turning, and pain."
"Some sort of vehicle accident. That's normally how it happens." She shrugs. "I dont really think about it often..."
Nod, jot jot jot.
"What do you know about the Impurity?"
"Its a weird substance thing that takes you over... i think it kills things that can die but changes the rest of us..."
Jot jot jot.
"...Alright, I think that's everything." They look to Eerine, and she nods. She walks over to Chloe and offers her hand.
Chloe takes it, yawning a bit. "I miss Zachriel. Can we go see her?"
"...I'm not sure if that can happen," she sighs, taking Chloe down the hall, holding her hand
"Why not?" She tilts her head. Seems she really didn't understand she was in captivity
"I mean..." They pass by the man with broken horns again. He looks at Eerine, but she doesn't look back. "Unless you can.. alert her to your presence in your domain, I'm unsure if we can see her."
"Aw..." Chloe frowns. "Dang... whats for dinner?"
"Hmm, let's see." Eerine pulls out her ePhone DS and checks the cafeteria menu for today. "Oo, it's pizza night."
Her eyes light up. "I LOVE PIZZA NIGHT!!!"
