Isaac walks in the room. Luna walks in from the hallway and sees Isaac. "Hey, good morning."
"Morning" He leans on the wall
"Just to triple check, you're not about to explode on me or turn into a goofy looking scarecrow... right?"
She stares at Isaac unsure if it's actually him or the scarecrow.
"Want me to?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure Cole would fucking kill me if you exploded. Unless you want that of course." Luna says nervously.
"Speaking of, where is he?"
Luna tilts her head. "Scarecrow, you can be patient and wait for her to come out. If you were really Isaac, you would know where she's at."
"At least I'm trying to be polite for the bit"
"I guess I'm just worried about her sanity if you were to go into her room dressed as Isaac. But if you really must know, the funny room is the first door on the left in the hallway." She points to the hallway and sighs.
"Alright, thanks, cheerio and fruit loops and what not" Isaac heads to the hall.
"Lucky charms!" She calls over to the scarecrow.
Scarecrow still under the guise of Isaac enters Cole’s funny room where she’s working on her armor. ‘Isaac’ knocks.
A tired Cole yells, "COME IN", then the door unlocks. There's a massive whiteboard in front of the tesla coil with Cole staring at it while tapping a marker to her chin. There are calculations and various elements written on the board.
"Hey what you up to?" Isaac walks up to Cole
"Finding an element that can resist radiation and EMPs. I've found nothing that doesn't involve just putting a faraday cage in the armor.” Cole sighs, there's several notable elements such as lead, steel, iridium, and platinum.
"I know where to get one of those." ‘Isaac’ says.
"Where?" Cole doesn't look away from the whiteboard.
"A funny little place, though it might be tricky to get it from."
"Are you gonna tell me or are you just gonna waste my time? Cause i know this isn't Isaac. Isaac wouldn't understand a word I just said nor would he know of a element that can do this." Cole, again, does not look away from the whiteboard.
"You would have to talk to the funny blue lizard chick again. That and I had some news after thinking about what all you had said the other day."
"Tell me the news, and I'll think about talking to her."
"Good new or bad news first?" Isaac leans on the whiteboard with no disregard for whats on it.
"Bad news, and get off my whiteboard." Cole waves her hand as Issac is forced slightly off of the whiteboard by an invisible force.
They just lean on the force like it's a wall. "So bad news is there is no old timeline soul for Lock"
"I figured, and the good news?"
"That's becuase the current soul is her old timeline’s soul."
"So her old timeline memories are in there somewhere?"
"Yup. Just like all the other nonferal souls. The way things work around there is we don't just toss one once we restart, we just reuse it for reasons."
"Is there a way I can unlock those memories?"
"Should be, but I would be careful, ol' Wobbles doesn't like it when people have messed with nonferal souls in the past. Especially with their old memories."
"....I'll think about it, also can I have Isaac back in exchange for my whiteboard?"
"We already made a deal. I want that nonferal."
"Yeah well there's an issue. I can't really capture her without my team begging to come with me." Cole groans.
"And you should let them. If they come with you, I will too, and I'll make sure no one gets hurt."
"..." Cole grumbles as she turns away and crosses her arms.
"Man you and Wobbles are just alike. More stubborn than an ass."
"It's more people to fucking worry about. I can't do anything without someone grabbing my leg and wanting to come with me." Cole grumbles, annoyed.
"Maybe they just really like you?" Isaac suggests.
"Why?! What is there to like about someone that frequently almost dies for something so small that it's stupid?!" Cole shouts.
"I dunno, people are weird, they like weird things" Isaac shrugs.
"I am the definition of insanity! Who the hell could possibly enjoy my company and my choices?!"
"Insanity is fun!"
"It can be! But not when I'm limited!"
"Can't hurt to let them help just this once." Isaac says.
"...and what if they just get in the way?"
Isaac shrugs "That's life. Nothings perfect"
Cole groans and puts the marker down, "Go ask Luna if she's up for a trip to Nicky's domain."
"Oh BOY!!!" Isaac runs out of the room. She dashes out and crashes into a living room wall like a cartoon character, which causes her to flicker into her usual form. “Ow.”
"Uhhh you good Scarecrow?" Luna tilts her head.
"Are you ready to go HUNTING!!?!?!" Scarecrow says with an excited grin after shaking her head some.
"Hunting??? For what?"
"That nonferal!!!"
"...Which one? Nicky?" Luna sighs. "Don't you remember? Cole says he wants to go solo and probably for the best. I'd just be in the way of his greatness and woooo~~~~" She does one of those weird hand gestures to show magic. "Besides, I just wanted to go to prove myself to him. So basically, if he's fine with it, then yes please. If not, then whatever."
"I talked him into it. its fine"
"Alright. I accept then. When are we going?" Luna asks with a grin.
"NOW...well now when he comes out here"
"Ah okay, lemme just." She snaps her fingers and a few things float over. Specifically, her Marked Broadsword, Ichor Claymore, knife pouch, and messenger bag with things in it. "Okay, ready." 😎 "Oh and one more thing." She clicks an app on her phone transforming her into her humanized magical girl form. She’s wearing an armored battle dress kind of like Saber from Fate Stay Night.
Cole walks in, wearing her halo armor that appears to have much thicker armor covering it as well as zero vent openings. "Lets go kick some rat ass."
"Hell yeah." Luna smugly grins.
"What rat?" Scarecrow asks
"We call Nicky a rat." Luna says.
"Yeah, the rat" Cole agrees.
"Then a rat hunting we go, who's leading?" Scarecrow asks.
"Cole? Wanna lead?" Luna offers.
"Sure, I can lead."
"Go on then."
Cole nods and walks out of the front door. Luna and Scarecrow follow and head into the city. As they turn a specific corner, they appear in a normal area within the Nicky-Thru with various fast-food restaurants littering the area.
