Melody is laying on the grass. Cole strolls outside with a wine glass and looks over at the grass, "Huh, weird." Melody is CRYING and quietly singing happy birthday to herself. Cole sets his glass down and walks over to Melody and sits down, "Is something wrong?"
She looks at him, her face all fucked up from crying on and off for three days. "Im miserable..."
"Why is that?" Cole notes the fucked up face from crying.
"I cant eat or sleep i keep seeing everyone dying...." And she's sobbing again.
"I heard you singing something, what were you singing?" Cole has a slight tired smile.
"Happy birthday..."
"Is it your birthday?"
Melody nods a little. Cole takes his crown off and looks at it for a moment and smiles a little more as he puts it on Melody, "You deserve this more than me"
She sobs some more. Also her stomach growls loudly.
"Hmm, I think you need this again but after that we can get you a birthday cake, mkay?" Cole snaps and the poppy chip disappears from his pocket. Melody feels a slight pressure in the left side of her head.
Melody blinks and nods. "Cake?" She smiles, wiping her eyes. She has barely eaten in like 3 or 4 days.
"Well, maybe something else?" Cole stands up and offers his hand to help Melody stand up.
Melody takes it but shes shakey on her feet, like a newborn fawn. "Like what!"
"Like maybe some chicken nuggets?"
"That sounds good!!" Shes basically leaning on Cole so she doesnt fall over. Cole leads Melody inside, making sure he is supporting them. Melody recieves a text from Asphodel, and Cole walks out of the kitchen and starts walking to the forest with Mel on his shoulders. They're going to make some flower crowns.

It's complete. Melody's room now has a large table with many chairs on each side. Most are seating plushies! There's one of every Sanrio character. All of them. Smores is also sitting in one of them, and there's some empty chairs for whichever guests may come. The biggest chair is saved for Melody, right at the head of the table.
There's paper plates and plastic utensils in front of each seat. There's a Happy Birthday banner hanging on the wall, and there's a table holding some gifts from both Smores and Melody. There's room for more gifts if anyone were to want to give some.
Asphodel sits in the seat across from Smores, right near Melody's chair. She messages Melody to come to her room.
Melody walks in and looks around in shock and excitement!!
"You like it?" Asphodel asks, smiling. She gets up and leads Melody to her seat.
"Hi i helped," Smores smiles.
"UH HUH!!" She exclaims happily, giggling as she boops Smores and Asphodel. "You guys remembered!!!!!!"
"How could I forget?" Asphodel chuckles, booping back. Smores smiles, folding his hands and watching Melody.
"Can I open the gifts!!" Melody asks.
"Sure! We can do cake after that if you want"
"Okie!!" She giggles and opens her gifts!!
One's a heart-shaped locket that opens in the middle and has 3 photos in it! Melody's in the middle, with Asphodel on the right and Smores on the left.
The second one is a really well-done sketch of Melody, signed by Smores!
The third is a My Melody and Kuromi backpack, perfectly fit for Melody.
And the fourth is a whole box of candy, like, a lot of it.
Asphodel and Smores watch eagerly as Mel opens the presents.
SHE IS SO EXCITED GOR ALL OF THEM SHE IS HAPPY STIMMING AND SQUEALING!!! "I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE!!!"
Asphodel smiles, "I'm glad you like them!"
"Do you like the drawing? I've been working on it for... uh..... a while," Smores chuckles nervously
"YES!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I LOVE IT!!!"
Smores smiles! He likes seeing Melody happy.
"So, you want your cake now?" Asphodel asks, tilting her head slightly.
"Yes!!"
Asphodel gets out of her seat, "Let me go get it." She heads out of the room and swiftly returns, holding a pink cake decorated with Sanrio characters! It reads, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELODY!" Asphodel sets it down in front of Melody and sits back down. "Didn't know if you liked chocolate or vanilla so I made it half and half," Asphodel chuckles.
MELODY GIGGLES HAPPILY!!! "I LOVE BOTH!!" she maybbe yelling but shes autistic leave her alone. There's a flash of green distortion as Spider appears, her ears instantly flatten against her skull from the yelling.
"Then you can have both! Birthday girl gets the first two slices, then. Take your pick of what part of the cake you want." She points out which part's chocolate and which is vanilla so Melody can decide easier. She then turns to Spider, "Hey, take whichever seat's available, we've got a lot of guests tonight," she laughs. Melody giggles and chooses a couple slices, flapping her hands happily. Asphodel cuts the slices and puts them on the plate in front of Melody. She then cuts the rest of the cake into six equal slices, enough to probably have leftovers.
"Didn't realize Mel was so popular," Spider chuckles, their tone that sort of light-hearted teasing one. Kade enters with a sleeping Orpheus on his shoulders. He has a smile on his face!
Melody giggles and claps happily, eating her cake. "Hi Kade!!!" She says, mouth full. Smores takes one of the smaller slices for his plate, taking small occasional nibbles.
"Howdy birthday girl!" Kade waves to Melody with a grin.
She giggles and shows him her gifts! "Look what Asphodel and Smores got me!!!"
"The candy and bag were my idea, the locket and drawing were all this cutie's idea," Asphodel says, booping Smores from across the table. Smores blushes, both from the embarrassment and the fact that his art is being shown to other people.
Kade chuckles at the fact as he views upon the gifts, "Adorable. Perfectly fitting for you!"
Melody giggles and nods. "Thank you!! I love it so much!"
Smores shoots up of his seat, "WAIT I FORGOT THE"
"Forgot what?" Melody tilts her head. Smores goes over to his bed and starts rummaging around, he pulls a small box out from a fucking slit in the mattress.
He sits back down and hands the box to Melody.
"One more gift!" He says, sweating. Melody takes it and opens it!! It's a cellphone with a hello kitty case, a pair of earbuds, and a pair of wireless earbuds! There's also one of those thingies you can plug two sets of earbuds into, as well as a charger for the phone.
"So uuhh my explanation ffor this one is that i really like mmusic and i thought we couldd maybeee bond over it? It can play music and stuff and it has games on it and you can watch shows on it and stuff and you can take it basically anywhere" He's rambling but Mel can get the gist.
Melodys eyes widen and she hugs Smores. "I love it!!! Thank you so much!!"
He giggles awkwardly and hugs back, "I'm glad you like it!"
